- This video shows the step-by-step instructions on how to adjust the DonJoy X-ROM Post-Op Knee Brace to fit a patient.
Indications: To aid immobilization and protected range of motion associated with ACL, PCL, LCL, and MCL surgeries and meniscal repairs
Fitting adjustments are recommended to be made pre-operatively, and the brace replaced into the bag it is supplied in until required.

Can straps be replaced if cut to short on accident?
I had this put on after knee surgery I had an infection to my knee replacement and at the second surgery they had to change the plastic part in front if the knee I feel this brace is too much for me but I wear it
I’m using this currently, but it’s a pain, already dug into my skin and on top of that, the angle on both the right and left side were off by 10 degrees each and causing tremendous amount of pain
We would suggest contacting the healthcare professional that fitted the brace originally as it sounds like it may need some adjustments

They fitted me at my doctors and the brace keeps falling down.. it doesn't stay on my knee at all.
It sounds like it may needs additional adjustment. If you are experiencing issues, you should contact your doctor.

Is the brace the same for left and right legs? So if it’s on the right leg, the hooks for the plastic velcro tabs is on the inside of the leg?
It is a universal brace, so yes, it fits left and right legs and will accommodate patients from 4'11" to 6'5"

Is the dial set to 0 mean immobilization ?
If you use the red "Quicklock", you can lock at 10⁰ increments from -10⁰ to 30⁰. You can see this explained from around 1:43 in the video.
Can this brace be worn under pants fairly easily?

Can I use in kncknee
The X-ROM is a post-operative knee brace to restrict the range of motion of the knee after surgery. Kick knee (genu valgum) is sometimes treated surgically. Use of a ROM brave would be a clinical decision made by the surgical rehabilitation team, and would depend on the surgery.
@@EnovisUKandIreland Can you use this brace pre-surgery or after injury? I do not experience significant pain or buckling, but would like to prevent my knee from causing more problems in the knee. Will this brace help with that?
@@rushil505 No, this is not what the X-rom is designed for. There are other DonJoy braces for support pre-operatively. I suggest you speak to an healthcare professional for advice.
