I was a university student living at home and got kicked out soooooo it wasn't the best of reactions. It was a real struggle to keep my life together but I think I did well considering. I get really happy when I see parents accept their kids on here it's wonderful to see open minded people that care so deeply for their children. xoxoxo everyone be strong. Be good to yourself.
Your father brought up a very important point. Too many "coming out" folks expect an IMMEDIATE reaction and the person receiving the important information has no time to react or get his/her head around what the person is being told. You gotta give it time". Good video as always.
It was so difficult coming out to my dad as well, I just remember sitting in my room all day trembling with my heart feeling like it was stuck in my throat before I did it.
I really appreciate the honest interaction between this kid and his dad. His reaction is honest, I'm not unhappy about it, I'm not happy about it, but I am happy that you are happy. Priceless.
Your father was AWESOME!!! He was having a very hard time keeping composed, but he stayed right by your side all through the video. He deserves a round of applause and a standing ovation.
Your dad is such a cool amazing guy, it's clear he loves you so much. I came out as Gay when I was 13, unfortunately my dad passed away b4 I could tell him, but my mum, the rest of my family and friends were so amazing and supportive. I think ur videos are outstanding and prophetic and I wish u all the love and success in everything you do xx
Thanks I think when we have such loving and supportive family and friends as you and I clearly do it makes the whole process of coming out so much easier and less stressful, your videos are so amazing and inspirational I hope you go on forever xx
It's great to see you finally do this video with your dad. In many families, it always seems like it's much harder for the dad to accept their child's coming out than it is for the mother. It's great that both of your parents are cool about it. There are so many people who cannot accept their gay or bisexual child.
Definitely one of the better, more useful coming out videos. Had me crying in joy. Thanks to the awesome dad for his honest participation. You are both so lucky.
As a bisexual Dad, i understand your father’s POV. Coming out is not just about what we need to say. It is also about how those close to us deal with the fallout. Perhaps giving him time/space to tell those around him would have been better.
Courtney: Thank you for sharing your father and his experience. I do understand why you cried and ran away. It is about you coming to terms with who you are as a person. I can appreciate your father and how he handled things. He is supportive and you are very fortunate. You really are your father's son. You look so much like him. He had some sound advice too.
Now having met your dad, I understand why you are awesome, Courtney-Jai. Both of you are most fortunate to have each other in your lives. My wish is that all families could be like yours..........thanks, bro..........Ray
I wanted to say your so lucky you told your parents and they accepted you. I never told my parents and now it's to late there both passed. I feel bad I didn't tell them...anyway you seem like a well adjusted young man and your parents should be VERY PROUD of YOU!!!! I enjoy all your videos by the way.
I told my mom when i was 11 But was worried about my dad but didnt need to worry they already knew😂 It makes all the difference having supportive parents💜 But for all the people that havent get my support all the way love is love😍
Fantastic Courtney..........Congrats to your Dad for his inclusion in this video..........He is well spoken and sincere. My eyes were moist during the video as I understand the emotion going through you as well as your Dad. Thankyou Dad & Courtney for this wonderful video. Walt in Miami
Lovely conversation!! I hope it helps those who dread coming out or are dealing with any problems in life.. Typically, your parents want you to be happy no matter what. Don't rush it though, do it as you feel comfortable!
Yeah I always found talking to your parents about coming is always the hardest part for anyone so I don't youth if I could give some insight maybe it might help those who need it most
So proud of you, handsome! and im sure your father is even more proud. More importantly, your an inspiration to so many out there -x your favourite fan :)
Strangely my dad was the first person I came out to, though it wasn't really by choice. Worked out okay in the end though. Your dad seems really cool about everything =)
+Courtney-Jai Not too good i guess, i got kicked out for a week when i came out to my mum. i know that's not a very long time, but it still hurt alot. and yeah that's my coming out experience kinda
+Hendi Beltz allows me to be my self I wasn't always dating the girl I'm with right now and as my dad said it made me depressed knowing I couldn't be myself
Love your videos, youre really a great person, definitely one of my favourite youtubers. I hope this channel blows up soon because you deserve it. Great video :)
You have a great Dad! I hope that my family will be just as accepting when I finally tell them that I'm bisexual; I'm 22 lol.I love watching your videos and hope you make loads more :)
+Courtney-Jai no worries :) It's good idea to have some variety in your videos :) I don't know many bisexual TH-camrs but you're the coolest by far ;) thanks for replying back to my message
Coming out Bisexual my mom did not care but honestly I was expecting (hoping) for the worse. My dad die before I could tell him which I was going to use to hurt him (we had a problematic relationship) he was always around just not close to me. When I was 22 I found out my brother was gay which was shock but again no one care we love you(the person) because we know you.
Is your dad part Indian? It is also worth saying that most boys and dads don't have much depth of conversation, sadly. Does your dad feel that to be a "man's man" one has to be straight?
I'm still quite close with sebby we talk all the time and yeah I miss the boys the channel fell apart because people were missing videos and people were putting effort into videos that weren't being watched so we decided to end it
+Courtney-Jai Good move. I can understand how not meeting deadlines is not a profitable thing. I think you made the right decision - to terminate the channel. Maybe someday you will be supplied with more workers to meet the demmand. So yes, it was a good business move. Can you and Sebastian make another video? P.S a profile of Sebastian Rhodes followed me on Google+ but I'm not sure if it's him since it only has MAINTAIN ads and maybe 1 or 2 videos . He's also dressed nice in the photo. I know sebastian has a Google+ with tons of youtube ads to his video. But I'm wondering if the guy who followed me with only 1 or 2 videos and MAINTAIN ADS is a fan google+

That's terrible man but I better your a much better person from the experience
Your father brought up a very important point. Too many "coming out" folks expect an IMMEDIATE reaction and the person receiving the important information has no time to react or get his/her head around what the person is being told. You gotta give it time". Good video as always.
Thanks man yeah that's what I liked both of these videos with my mom and dad they both had two different coping methods
Bravos to father and son. Excellent video.
Thanks I appreciate he took the time to make it with me
That seemed a really honest conversation. Great to hear it from your father's perspective.
Yeah it was a nice conversation to have we don't talk about very often
I wish my dad was this supportive. Jelly.

+okimlistening2u yeah my dads a cool guy
Your father is so cute haha, you can tell he's a bit camera shy. But he seems very loving and understanding. It was a great video!
He's a good dad and it was awkward to film I think if I did an updated version it would be completely different

Strangely my dad was the first person I came out to, though it wasn't really by choice. Worked out okay in the end though. Your dad seems really cool about everything =)
+Paul Dean that's cool usually everyone find it the hardest to come out to their dad
By the way, Courtney, very good video. Thanx.
How was your experience coming out to your parents
Tbh it made me feel better when they said they've known the whole time. They were chill about it
why you need to coming out if you dating a girl? ( I am sorry about my silly question, I am just curious )

You are an admirable person and your parents are the bestest (is that english? idk).
They are pretty cool
+Joas Radiomann "parents are the best" (bestest is not a word)
nexttsar I meant "the best of the best" but yeah
Very nice video.
happy for you
Thanks man
Great dad
Flawless like/dislike ratio. You're awesome!
I Always love it when it's flawless but give a month there's always that on dislike which is so annoying
Coming out Bisexual my mom did not care but honestly I was expecting (hoping) for the worse. same. kind of.
Joas Radiomann I'm unique this way
Aquarius Not_Real Every story is unique so yeah
Damn your dad is soooo handsome , did he has grindr account ?
Mustafa Majid nope he's 100% straight sorry to disappoint you
Woooooow! You don't look like father and son. You look like siblings. That is sooooooooo cool!
hello, daddy in law !!!
what is your dad's ethnicity? He looks middle eastern or maybe latino.
let say you dad might not be comfortable with you being gay but at least he doesn't hate you or beat you up. you are lucky to have a loving parents.
I'm not gay in bisexual
Is your dad part Indian? It is also worth saying that most boys and dads don't have much depth of conversation, sadly. Does your dad feel that to be a "man's man" one has to be straight?
He doesn't feel like you have to be its just not very common I guess but he from an older generation where homophobia was very present
hi. I was just curious: what happened with One World Apart? And random question: do you miss working with sexy Sebastian? I know: real random.
Can you and Sebastian make another video?

mantain is the channel me and him run together so possibly
you have a nice papa
Yeah he's pretty cool
you look like your father
So father and son or actual clones dan dan dan.
you dad is hot
That's creepy
You named your son. Courtney and call your self a mans man no wonder he's gay /no hate just think it's ironic
For one I'm not gay I'm bisexual theres a big difference and my name doesn't change my sexuality, so really it's not ironic
Also my name is courtney-jai it's double barrel
