Yeah, I just came over from Calum's channel and your other video with him (your coming out as bisexual). I'm a 58 yr old Texan who was self-aware shortly after puberty (around 13 or so) as bisexual/pansexual. The 1970s and 1980s (and even the 90s, for that matter) were difficult times for both gays and bisexuals. I'm now engaged to a young man. I'm childless, but would be proud to have you as a son, Courtney. You're very cute-&-handsome, obviously bright/intelligent, and adorable. Just sub'd your channel. Keep on keepin' on! Best wishes always...
Nick Perrin Vlogs Courtney-Jai Thank you both. My fiance is not in America right now. We hope to bring him over here by this coming Autumn. And marry soon thereafter. No frills; just a civil procedure. It almost flatout amazes me that many people don't understand the concept of civil marriage. I'd've been satisfied, mind you, with something that was nominally separate ('civil partnership' or 'civil union'), as long as it actually would have the _same bundle of rights_ that goes with standard/conventional marriage. But the uptight wanks & wonks get their panties in a wad over the 'm' word for some silly reason(s). Anyway, thanks again to you both for you kind replies. And Courtney, you're adorable. Keep on keepin' on! ;-)
Calum's story of the bullies that assaulted him, Made me want to cry and reminded me of the harsh reality that the real world isn't as progressive as tumblr. Also I'm a new sub :D
Great video from the both of you. I hope in 10 years time, coming out will no longer be a big deal and we see same sex couples as no different then heterosexual couples. The world is getting there, but there is still a ways to go. You two should do videos with each other more often.
I just started coming out, in my 30's, last week and it has been incredible whirlwind of emotion. Everyone I have told have been wonderful and excepting. I know I still have the more difficult people left. Figured it was good to have a core base to rely on if it goes bad with someone.
+Brian Dice well at least your doing it and its not something you have to rush if it takes years it takes year and st least you can say you have no regrets
Courtney: Good to see you vlogging with other You Tubers. It helps you connect and expand in your experiences. Thank you for letting Calum share his experiences and I hope it will be a help to someone. I think you benefited from talking with him too. You keep doing these types of things and please take care. Are you working out Courtney? You arms are getting big.
The right age is not waiting until you are 65 as I did. You are alone and what mom and dad thought is not important now and for years past too. But, you have not had the love of another or a family. I would say the feelings one has at age 10 to 12, for the same sex will not disappear with age! It does not work that way. Of course, one can always live as a straight person and lie to one's partner/s or family and the society. It still will not change the fact that there is same sex attraction that is part of our DNA.
I came out when I was 12 years old. (in 6th grade) and this video would have really helped me to come out so I can really appreciate the fact that this can help others feel comfortable to come out.
+Olivia Somerville I try reply to everyone who watched me I just see it as a sign of respect you take the time to comment so you should no your efforts are not wasted and that I notice everyone
Courtney, if you don't mind, I'm interested in what your girlfriend thought about your bisexuality. It must be frightening to come out to someone, anyone, you love.
well its actually one of the first things I said to her I wanted it to be out in the open I knew if she didn't like the idea then we weren't meant to be together but she said she wasn't bothered
Veteran!! pfft try 1980 in less enlightened times LOL Nice video, I never knew about Cal being beaten up like that, that's just horrible! I've always been lucky never had trouble like that but I know many do. I don't understand "coming out" and never have. We're people and unless it comes up in conversation I don't make a point of it. It's not relevant to most days and it's also nobody else's business. Obviously if you do You Tube it's a good thing, but that's different, if you're out with a group & feel uncomfortable with girl chat then that's a good time to tell them you're not interested. One great thing that is happening now is that the younger generation don't even see it as a "thing" anymore and kissing someone of the same sex is not considered something bad. Times have moved on, we're lucky in this part of the world :) Subscribed and will catch up - good luck from an older viewer - they say my generation don't know anything about You Tube etc - I was using the net before most had even heard of it LOL
That's amazing that you've been out that long I suppose it amazing for you to see the change in social viewing of the subject but I completely agree it's no ones business but your own 😊
You two guys are among the most handsome dudes on the tube....just sayin', not creepin'. Did you coordinate your identical black T's, or was it just a coincidance?
Hi! I’m new on your cannel, but I’ve already watched several of your videos. The thing is that I’ve never before meat a bisex, and I think I’m. As you know it has often come to my mind since many years ago. About six months ago I was about to tell it to two of my friends (a boy and a girl) because we were talking about LGBT, but almost by the time I was about to the them they start saying that they don’t believe in bisexuality, and that may be only in girl’s bisexuality, but not in boy’s. That kind of frustrated me, so that’s the reason why I haven’t tell anyone. Have you deal with something like that? Greeting from Mexico!
+Madeleine I was thinking about it but my girlfriend doesn't really like being on my channel she camera shy and when we did the girlfriend tag she got aload of hate which really pissed me because I thought my subscribers where there for me and not just my sexuality
i totally get callums whole thing of comming out as bi first. However that was because i was only really friends with girls and i didnt think there would be a guy i wanted a relationship with but i knew i wanted to have sex with guys. Anyway love you both keep up the good work
Heres the link to the video on callums channel th-cam.com/video/zWHPHWfDrFg/w-d-xo.html We talk about my coming out experience , how it is to be bisexual , how my parents reacted and how it different to come out bisexual vs being gay

We all do that would be an amazing place which we could all know we helped create

You make a very valid point I couldn't imagine how hard it has been for you
I came out as bi last year at the age of 40. Been so emotional as I'd hidden my feelings for about 25 years. Living a lie is hard.
omg how did I never find you before??? I'm in love😍😍
Well thanks man your far to kind I just wanted to say thanks to Calum because he really gave me an amazing opportunity collabing with him
I came out when I was 12 years old. (in 6th grade) and this video would have really helped me to come out so I can really appreciate the fact that this can help others feel comfortable to come out.

Fantastic! & I wish you and her all the very best!
Cal is such a cutiepie :3 very informative video boys well done.
Well we tried our best to help
Cal that was really sad and upsetting when you said that you were jumped and had your teeth broken by bullies from your ex-high-school.
Yeah it was awful to hear about
Veteran!! pfft try 1980 in less enlightened times LOL Nice video, I never knew about Cal being beaten up like that, that's just horrible! Greeting from Mexico!

+Milica Vajagic thanks man hope you enjoy the video
Was a cool video :) I'm gay I'm proud :)
We'll be proud of who ever you and what ever you do not just your sexuality because it doesn't define you, you define yourself
When are you going to do a 'girlfriend does my makeup' tag, or any tag that means you have makeup all over your face? Please?
+Madeleine I was thinking about it but my girlfriend doesn't really like being on my channel she camera shy and when we did the girlfriend tag she got aload of hate which really pissed me because I thought my subscribers where there for me and not just my sexuality
You should do it when you want to and you know you're in a safe space
Couldn't have said it better myself
You both have nice eyebrows :3
I noticed that too!
***** I'm glad I'm not the only one Hahahah
what's the outro music its really cute
I think the original song is called "new soul" but I'm not sure
Thanks 💪
+Jonathan Moyetones yeah it's a remix of new soul
i totally get callums whole thing of comming out as bi first. However that was because i was only really friends with girls and i didnt think there would be a guy i wanted a relationship with but i knew i wanted to have sex with guys. Anyway love you both keep up the good work
+Tina Coladas yeah I can see how it would be used as a stepping stone
Really it comes down to we need to get rid of labels and get rid of the need to come out at all
New bi sub
Awesome well I hope you like my future videos
Heres the link to the video on callums channel th-cam.com/video/zWHPHWfDrFg/w-d-xo.html
We talk about my coming out experience , how it is to be bisexual , how my parents reacted and how it different to come out bisexual vs being gay
You guys were too cute at the end!? haha
Haha yeah we had a lot of fun filming this video
I am Gay From Saudi Arabia i have no hope to come out to anybody
Maybe one day you will be able to move from your country and find somewhere a lot more accepting
I send all my love and support to all the LGBT people of the world ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 You all are important and very valuable even though we live in a world that makes you all believe otherwise. Being gay should be so normal that there shouldn't be a need to come out, in my opinion.
Totally agree!
Yeah it's strange because if you look at Roman culture they weren't into all these label people just did what they wanted it's manly the introduction of religion which changed society
+Courtney-Jai Yeah and in Ancient Greek culture too, thanks Christianity, thanks a lot...
Courtney-Jai You are only labeled today because you don't want to end up with the wrong "gender".
there no ending up with the wrong gender for me as long as I'm happy I don't mind
It seems like everyone coming out now is calling themselves bisexual. Is this a fad?
Well I came out over two years ago so it's not recent but no I guess more people are more open to accepting it
