i have same problem i check it 80 90 show me new part i order i checked it also new one it show 25.1 it is good or bad after market part??????? please help
Mine starts making clicking noise right after engine starts, then stops and after a few mins starts clicking non stop again, is that how its supposed to work?
raja hashim The Charcoal Canister has a vent valve on it- that is open when the Engine is off. When the Engine is on- the Charcole Canister vent valve should be closed. The Purge valve is opened when the Engine is on. It opens to allow Fuel vapors to be drawn from the Charcoal Canister into the Intake Manifold to be burned off. The Purge Valve and Vent valve are two different components.
Hey guys I own a 2003 BMW 745Li and currently I'm getting a misfire code p 0363 multiple misfire code (system lean and fuel shut off to bank 1) along with the p1347,49 codes that go with it for each cylinder. I smell fuel when I start it up. I just changed the fuel filter under the driver side and my ccvs. I thought it might of been a vacuum leak somewhere but when I lift the oil cap while she's started I have no signs of suction..any ideas
Oh God I feel so sorry for you. Dude you literally have the most unbelievably unreliable problematic car that you can possibly have. That car is gonna suck your blood dry to the bone. There is no fixing that car even if you replace every single part it will never be enough. Sorry for the bad news. Get rid of it before it gets rid of you.
hello i am getting code P0456 in my bmw x3 2016 i replaced the gas cap and canister purge valve and i still getting the P0456 code what do you think should i check next? Thanks
Great Video 100--100 I have a Question .mine tested today at 27.7 ohms... so does this mean it is working fine?? i do have a code 3164 come up ,which means >>>>>>"fuel tank ventilation system 2nd inlet point Malfunction, evaportion purge valve breather . I also has many codes after the vehicles computer stored this #3164 code, Which is all pretaining to multiple cylinders misfiring... the thing also notice was that when the vehicle was during a"cold startup" it would "stumble" for 5-6 seconds and i also noticed it is "Running Rich" because of the black tailpipe tips look sooty , the strange thing is also, i have to warm this vehicle up for about 10 minutes on "cold morning startup" before i can drive it,If i drive it while it is still cold it would fell like misfiring, but when warmed up no problem with this feel of misfiring would the vent valve cause this problem ty sir
hi guys , can you tell me how the computer send the signal to the valve to open ? I mean how the computer knows that it need to be opened ? sensor or something ? thanks
Suhaib 3D Club The Purge valve should only open when the Engine is running. It opens to draw Gasoline vapors that are stored in the Charcoal Canister. Its part of the Evap system. The Gasoline vapors are then burned off in the combustion process.
Hey nice video been looking for something like this for a while. I just checked my purge valve bmw 2013 X1 reads 26.3 ohms what you think good or no good?

I am reading around 39 and am also curious if this indicates a bad solenoid.
If this is bad will it cause thick white smoke to come out of exhaust?
