Almost 2 years later and I seen these yesterday, and from looks of these and the ones i seen yesterday they have improved. They look to have great detail now. I picked up a few sets.
The problem with Nolzur's is that I can get comparable or cheaper miniatures with better quality, so it's not like they are the only option. They are priced $2.50 per miniature most of the time, which is slightly below average, but you can grab stuff like Dungeons & Lasers for like $1 a piece. I also recommend finding some local 3d print stores, they often sell high quality cheap miniatures. Of course this was done 6 years ago when a lot of those didn't exist, but the market looks way different today.
Thanks a lot for the review Doc. I've seen these in the package, but haven't had the opportunity to take a closer look at them. I'll definitely be looking a bit more carefully at them now before making any purchases.
I would kina prefer them to be not only unprimed but also unassembled, because I like to get into places with my brush that are a pain in the ass to get to when the minis are built, like the inside of the cloak and stuff. If they're gonna be built already, they better be posed in a way that's not annoying to paint.

Hi ! I paint since almost 6 months and nolzur's was my first buy (i really started on my 30 years old hero quest and dark eye miniature). I just started to paint my female elf warlock yesterday because i was afraid before : so small, so much détails but small volumes. And i know why i was afraid and your video confirm that. With my little expérience you can't really use details, they aren't big enough and you covered a lot of them. If someone start hobby, those minis are a bad choice, they can discourage you

I have a Beholder and a Troll from this line. I was pretty happy with them. Maybe stick with the monsters.
