I think so! We’ve prepped a few other Nolzur’s videos in the past but they always got bumped by other stuff and we weren’t entirely sure how to present them. We’ll definitely try to do more coverage of them in the future. -Grady
@@TheGallantGoblin Think I'll take 2 of those Balors and use one to make a custom "Icon of Sin" for Fantasy Flights DOOM. Also can we all just agree that we need some unpainted Abishai miniatures?
So I've been aimlessly buying minis that I find cool, I find your Channel today not only do you give amazing descriptions of the miniatures you also say which books they're commonly featured in as a DM who's trying to get into minis I owe you so much gratitude
Welcome to the channel and glad we can help! Let us know if you have any questions or know of something you’d like us to review and we’ll try our best to provide the info you’re looking for! -Grady
First time viewer here. Odd point of order, but I was pleasantly surprised by the timbre of your voice! Great content too, really looking forward to painting some of these!
The 3.5 sourcebook draconomicon has a really good breakdown of the features of all types of dragons that is not system exclusive and can be found as a PDF on the DM's Vault/Guild website.
The Balor is easily one of my favorite creatures in all of D&D so if I can’t end up pulling one from mad mage I’ll forsure be buying one of these unpainted minis
Like Grady said the Beholder Zombie is way cheaper and easier to get than regular ones. I was at my local game shop yesterday and they had it for a little over $5 USD and it's the kind of place that usually has to mark everything up X3 what you can find other products for ( and even then they barely carry any minis ). I had some other purchases to make but I'll def get it soon though, I might even get the painted one because I think the paint job is so well done
If you want some really good art for the basic Chromatic and Metallic dragons for D&D, look for the Draconomicon from 3.5, it's got a whole lot of art and a massive pile of the fluff for them.
Beholder Zombie.....gotta get that one. And yeah, I noticed the scale was way off when I bought the White Dragon. No worries. I already have that one planned into my campaign as an "adult" ;) Thanks for the heads up and review.
Oh thanks for the heads up on the white dragon! We were wondering if all the youngs were at least scaled the same with each other so it’s good to know they probably are! -Grady
Looking forward to the huge red and gold. Gotta get Bahamut’s 9 Golden Birds! ;) I got 2 Beholder Zombies from the Dungeon of the Mad Mage board game (prem set) so I’m good there, but hopefully they will feel some of the demand of the market. Same with the Balor. I hope a Pit Fiend (from DnD Descent, not PF) hits soon.
Very nice! Ah, yeah, good call on the board game. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see an unpainted version of the Dragon Heist pit fiend sometime soon. -Theo
No character minis? Aw. Super excited to get a Red Dragon though. I have a knockoff Balor, which I love. The Behir looks awesome and I will get it. I appreciate you saying what adventures the monsters are found in.
There are character minis in the wave, we just didn’t receive any as previews. If you click the link in the video description to the press release you can see the full list of figures that will come out. There are 13 character packs total including female Dragonborn fighter, male halfling rogue, female human monk, and male firbolg Druid. -Grady
Can you guys release your tumultuous templates review next? I want to preorder them but I really wanna watch your review first, and I don't want to be too late to preorder them
I’m in the process of working on it, but I’m on jury duty at the moment. It’s a tricky one to film because of the nature of the product. I’m aiming to get it out this week though. Stay tuned! -Theo
Oh yeah, is this the first time we're getting Nolzur's reviewed. I am really glad we do

"Everyone likes dragons, right".
I can think of a few villagers that might disagree

I wish the bases had the same thickness has the prepainted ones.

I was kinda bummed I didn’t get the red dragon from fangs and talons..then I found out it was also a nolzurs mini so I just bought that instead

Great video. One may say that dragons are just "larger" and that these are now the official sizes, where the older sizes were too small. :)
We’re always happy to get bigger dragons. Excited to see the full official set once they’re all out! -Grady
5$ for a beholder is the deal there...
Indeed. And hopefully this one will stay in stock for awhile! -Theo
Some nice minis there
Good stuff
Indeed! -Theo

@@TheGallantGoblin When is the release date for that set, do you know? Also the msrp?
$59.99 and releases February 12 in the US. -Grady
our there strong then those bones?
I like your shirt! I understood that reference.
I can wear it all day! -Grady
Nice dragons!
I need to get to painting them! -Theo
"they are kinda like boa constrictors if boa constrictor had legs and could shoot lightning out of their mouths" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHA
