I can't begin to imagine how long it takes you to make a video of this quality, with all of your camera set-ups to think about as well as doing your actual craft, not to mention your fab post-production animations et al. Lord, this so reminded me of putting this "greenhouse" shed on the side of the house off the kitchen. When I saw you cutting up that partially rotted plywood it looked just like what I had used to make my shed. I had had to have the siding on the SE side of my house replaced, but since so much wasn't rotted, I saved these boards. I had some single pane windows replaced and saved those, too. I was beginning to see possibilities. My brother and I, along with the help of my youngest son, framed the attached walls to fit the two doors and four windows I had salvaged from different projects. We then cut pieces of the T11 siding that was solid and fitted it around the doors and windows. My brother did an excellent job of lining up the grooves in these panels. I followed behind him with a calking gun to "erase" any errors. The trim used around the windows and doors was a bit of using whatever I had laying around, so pretty much none of that matched, but since it is all painted the same, nobody can see that from a distance. But my neighbor who has a boat shed across the property line from this building who had originally been horrified at my material stack told me the place looked great after we were done. Since the walls and color matches the house, it kind of blends right in. While I must admit, your shed is prettier, the best part of mine is that I can grow tomatoes in this cool climate and have a place to save my herbs and several perennial flowers that cannot handle out winters.

I adore your new shed!!! I love how colorful and unique it is. I completely agree that modern day tools should have made our buildings even more beautiful. I miss the old attention to detail that carpenters and workers gave. I can't wait to see more of your art. :)

your videos are always such a joy to watch! Low stakes projects like these are amazing in removing any inhibitions and hang-ups that a "proper" project would come with. i'm really impressed by the end result, it's such a perfect celebration of creativity and experimentation!

Excellent. I really enjoy you re creating your sheds. So shabby sheek. You still have to deal with the side door into your Victrian shed. Looking forward to that. WELL DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Listening to the comments, seeing sketches incorporated into the video and how you cut the pieces made things much simpler to understand. It's a very inspiring thing and I encourage everyone who has a renovation project to watch the video before starting.
