I grew up in Antioch and I'm so thankful I was able to buy a home and move to Danville. Once I had kids I knew I had to live in a safe place with good schools. First I rented in San Ramon, which is an amazing city. Later I saw a house I could afford in Danville and jumped on it.

That is awesome! I agree it's a great place to raise kids, you just have to deal sometimes with the entitled kids and parents but parenting starts in the home so not that big of a deal. I grew up in San Ramon but prefer Danville's smaller home town vibe over SR.

I live here and I appreciate the heat. The schools are 10/10 and it's such a safe town. Could not ask for a better place to raise kids - I don't need bars or a BART station at this stage in life. No diversity?!? so few of my neighbors are born in the US. We have neighbors from the Philippines, Greece, China, Vietnam and south Africa.

You're 100% correct. People have flocked here since Covid BECAUSE there's no BART. It has lowest crime rate in CA. Many of my neighbors moved here from South Bay because there's more diversity. This realtor is 🤡.

I live there, it is very expensive to places like NC, because there you can buy 8k sq ft houses for 1.5 million but here you have to be really lucky to get a 3.5k sq ft house for 2.7 million. It is still a very good town, everything you would need nearby, and I suggest moving here!

I'm from San Francisco and was raised there and now I live in Europe near a quaint , beautiful seaside tiny city and I LOVE it. it's nice to live in an area with a small city that has what you need and then you can travel for an hour or two to get to a major city. It's nice to not have the big city problems. Danville sounds nice ....except for allergies!! But then again, no place is perfect.

Not looking but a Bay Area native and the title caught my eye. I know Danville well. Nice video and a charming host.

You could also check out City Center Bishop Ranch if you want some SF dining, shopping and amenities ;-)

I live here. I love it but it’s too expensive and the weather is just hot then less hot.

I don’t know how long ago this was done, but Danville has diversity….Chinese, afghans, Japanese are all on my block in Blackhawk……

Comment below I would love to hear if you think Danville CA is still appealing or not! 😉

I think Danville is appealing to people who like the Traditional American Style Town. Other cities in the bay area, they are not traditional at all, you can't see any decoration during holidays.

@@dhl4102 Yes it really is a great city for the all american feel and very safe. That is what I love about the bay area, you have all kinds of cites that appeal to everyone not just one group of people. It's a great place to live. :) Thanks for the reply!
