I lived in Moraga for 11 years. Don't take this ladies opinion as facts do your own research. 1) How on earth is population size being small a bad thing? If anything thats a positive - close relationships and safer environment. Also her claim that everyone knows everyone just isnt true 2) There is not just one road that goes out of the town. This is also just a plain lie. St Mary's Rd, Canyon, and Moraga Rd and some of their connecting streets lead out out Moraga (just off the top of my head) 3) Not a lot of restaurants is true but lots of restaurants in close towns like Orinda, Lafayette, even Walnut Creek and Berkeley 4) Same with #3 for "Boraga" not a lot in the actual town but its not like chosing to live in Moraga means you have to stay their forever and can't drive 10 minutes out to get out Idk why you have such beef with moraga, just make one video with the pros and cons instead of framing it in such a way that people will only see the negative side. Also most of these "cons" are just personal opinions that can be interpreted as pros for other people, so making titling this video as a definite "DON'T MOVE HERE!!!" is misleading
Thanks for the comment. I don't have a "beef" with Moraga I just need to inform about the pros and cons of every city which is what I do on my channel. Watch my video on "Why people love Moraga California | 7 Reasons | Ep 167" link here: th-cam.com/video/98LmWGVU7RU/w-d-xo.html
I also did a video on how great the farmers market and how GREAT it is too here just to prove there is no "BEEF" between Moraga and I. th-cam.com/video/qIZJUSGk574/w-d-xo.html
@@RelocatingToTheSFBayArea In all fairness the name "Boraga" is absolutely on point. I couldn't wait to get outta there when I was young. Now that I'm sixty one it seems like paradise. Come to think of it, it was paradise back then I just hadn't seen the real world. Thank you for your video!
Lived in Moraga for over 5 years then moved to Orinda. Love Moraga. Just have to live there and experience it. Both my kids played sports at Campo so enjoyed going to the games. Hanging out at SiSi Cafe. Enjoyed lazy morning walks. Great place Yes, one way out to Orinda could be a negative for some people. But not a negative for me I enjoyed the drive on Moraga Way
There are actually 5 ways in and out of town: Moraga Rd, Moraga Way, Rheem Blvd, St. Mary's Blvd and Canyon Rd. If you're doing to the Oakland direction. As for it's remoteness, it's 10 minutes to Orinda or Lafayette, 15 minutes to Walnut Creek, 20 minutes to Danville, Concord, Berkeley or Oakland and 30 minutes to SF if you're not driving during commute hours. It feels really secluded but it's easy to get anywhere. As for restaurants, I can count at least eight that are popular and the movie theater is really nice since it's been remodeled. Also, the many hiking trails are amazing. I grew up in Moraga and have lived here over 20 years as an adult and even though I'm very active, there's no place else I'd rather live.
The nations in Moraga is my BF's favorite restaurant. The tj maxx is great too! Lots of things are wonderful about Moraga and I think for you, the absolute best part would be the 20 years of equity in your home if you have owned it for all of those 20 years. ☺🤞
I actually think moraga is a great place to raise families and kids but just a little too remote for me. I’m sure plenty of people will love it. Thanks so much for the nice comment and engagement. I’m glad u liked the video too☺️
Deep! 10-15 minutes in, it takes a minute.? My bf is so popular he knew everyone in his class....blah blah blah. What is this? This woman is confused....
I grew up in Moraga. Ya, we called it BORAGA! It's very cute though.
LOL I know I am just poking fun calling it Boraga. It really is a great town and place to raise kids. :)

I live in Moraga!
I have been living in Moraga for 13 years. It's a cute town, but it's very small, so I could agree with you on #5.
:) I agree!
Cary lives there. (Creator of bfdi)
What do you know about Saint Mary’s?
Saint Mary's is great!
