My wife loves Birria tacos, if I eat 3 to 4 I'm absolutely miserable because they are so heavy. I can only imagine how he felt after 40!! Great job, been watching for years!!
Being from South Wales we don't see this awesome food around much. They look light and simple but after watching this video you can see heavy they are. Randy only just made it and he is an absolute beast of a machine

It does seem counterintuitive, but the acid helps break down the food while chewing. The liquid helps wash the food down. It also expands the stomach, then the burps help make more room.
Haha yeah, whenever Randy stands up in the middle of a challenge he usually has this look on his face that says “wtf am I doing with my life right now?”

Your estimate of 5000 is way too low. Those tacos are over 300 calories each, that was 12000 calories or more just in tacos, plus the dipping sauce on top of that and then the soda on top of that. He went through cups of the oil based dipping sauce and several sodas, very likely 15000+ calories at least
@@Vincent_Beers it's not oil based. It basically like a soup or goulasch in which the meat cooks, they just add some fresh chopped up onions, a squeeze of lemon and some fresh coriander leaves. Made this myself at home atleast once a week

Wow, in all these years of watching, I've never seen a challenge where Randy took advantage of the food challenge rule of: as long as the last bite is in your mouth before time expires, it counts. 40 minutes is definitely not enough time for those tacos except for the very elite competitive eaters. I hope they do make it an hour in the future.
It doesn't happen often, and this was not the first. These tacos were amazing and I love Miami. At some point in the future, I am gonna go on a trip down there and do this challenge again, probably with Nathan Figueroa, and get a little stronger of a victory haha.

I moved to Tucson Arizona from Ireland and birra is my favorite mexican food ever I would fill my bathtub with all those birra tacos and sit in them for hours and hours eating them, I feel sorry for all the people who has never had a birra taco
Where can I get a authentic Birra Taco? I moved to Phoenix and they look delicious!!! My neighbors are from the county of Cork Ireland. Their daughter is a great Irish/Country singer, Dee Reilly.
He wasn't joking when he said they were labor intensive. I have made them a couple times and it is an hours long process and totally worth it. Glad you enjoyed them..hope you get to enjoy them at your leisure soon.. Fun fact~~ The oil the tortillas are dipped in is actually fat skimmed off the top of the pot of meat when it has cooked. ❤❤ That was a close one!😳😳
@@LoneWolf20213 if you followed his videos loyally you would know he DOES. He yours, then he goes off the challenges a few months. I think last year he lost 70-80 lbs in just a few short weeks after touring, when he was home and working out

My respects to Randy. Birria tacos are great but they are very heavy. I’m a big eater and can only have about 6-8 of them. They fill you up fast.
My record is 10. They are soooo good. It's hard to stop eating them. I usually drink the rest of the juice after I'm done as well.
If they are filled with cheese too, I can do 4-5 max especially if I'm drinking a coke
