    Just an FYI that wildtrak has the High/Lux 354A package for equipment which gives the ACC and the B&O speakers and other upgrades. It’s not standard for wildtrak trim level. Also the roof rails are add on as well so it’s not a base wildtrak. Just in case anyone is expecting those features on a base wildtrak they won’t be there. Also, the 4A will allow the vehicle to switch from 4x4 and 2x2 automatically to be more fuel efficient than keeping it on 4x4. Better for winter/wet conditions.

    So for the Wildtrack, the sliders were aftermarket. As far as the tie rods, the Wildtrack comes with the 3.0 steering package (unless its a 2021), which is the same exact tie rods (except for length) as the Raptor. You can also option a similar bumper as the Raptor on the Wildtrack with the D-Rings, you're just looking at one build by someone who didn't add that... did you research at all before the video?. The Raptor has some insane differences as well as far as chassis design, suspension location and geometry, and of course, shocks. The Raptor is a BEAST off-road compared to a WIldtrack and handles whoops, jumps, and more with much more prowess. It also scores a 590 CTI score on a flex trailer vs a Wildtrack scoring a 480 with swaybars disconnected (unbolted since no electric disconnect).
    The Raptor is a whole nother ball game. You're right on the money for usage. Most people will never use the Raptor to its potential, I'm lucky to have friends that do and I have a heavily modified Bronco. Even after everything I've done to mine, the stock Raptor still outperforms.
    The axles are also exactly the same, same differential, everything. The Raptors are just a little longer because of the extra track width, no extra strength.

      Glad to have all that info and no I didn’t look up one thing in these. I just wanted to compare them at face value like most customers would for this video. Obviously I can justify the difference for the Raptor. That’s why I bought one, so I agree with you!

      @popo_patty I think 2024 they upgraded the tie rod end of all sas broncos didn't they? I know bronco was talking about switching them all to m210 diffs in front because it's the same price for them in bulk and time to install. No moving around and scanning for individual different at the labor station and only a single fixture. There was a bulletin about the smaller tie rods bending and they upgraded mine at the dealer because one of mine was bent and it couldn't be aligned correctly.
      Side note, some dealers have this thing when you drive into service that checks your alignment, tire pressures and weights at each corner. It's very cool and it's how they spotted mine being bent. They offered to replace my front tire but I told them I was going to swap tires soon. The dealer is doing my lift and tires, I have them in the garage, I need one more wheel.

    Id pick the Raptor because the 2.7L Ecoboost has a rubber belt driven oil pump, which just screams failure in the future, whereas the 3.0L is chain driven and would not have any major downsides.

    Great comparison! A no bias/no BS listen. WildTrack it will be! I'd never go beat on either of these vehicles, unless situation dictated that I needed to. Not a prepper, while being prepared can't hurt; I need to pull a side x side, get to some un-surfaced locations to launch that side x side, and sometimes that involves deep snow and muck...looking like the 2.7 will cover that bill, with better economy...and oddly, as you mention, maybe even better amenities. Subtract 30 grand and for my needs, the Wild Track is a no-brainer!

    The biggest difference between the Raptor and any other full size bronco, is the Raptor will retain a higher resale value in comparison to the others, as there aren't as many on the road and people do want them, just not at $90K. I drove a 2024 Badlands with the same 2.7L and felt it needs more engine, the 325HP would move the Bronco fine, but lacks the git up and go I'd like to see at that price point. Also, I have an explorer ST with the 3.0 and yes, there is a HUGE difference in performance from the 3.0 to the 2.7 and hope at some point FORD will offer the 3.0 as an option in other trim levels than the Raptor only.

    I got the Wildtrak high lux package. The Raptor is awesome, but i live in the burbs with limited offroad trails near by. The Raptor is overkill for me. I actually sold a highly modified Audi S vehicle which did 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. Regardless of what perception is the Raptor is not fast. Its fast for what it is, but a 5.6 0-60 is not impressive these days. If i lived out west near desert areas, my view would be different. For 95% of people looking at these the Raptor is for show.

    The most expensive bronco you can buy is mine, its 81k on the sticker. It has every option on an outer banks. I had stuff added. The only raptor they had was 125k and i didnt think it was better for the cash. I would rather have the 2.7l. Its a nicer motor and you can get more out of the 2.7. The 3.0 has cast pistons, aluminum block and the same turbos. The 2.7 has a sintered cast iron block and forged pistons, forged crank. I saw one that pushed out 650hp from the stock bottom end.
    My outer banks has wool carpet, power seats, mine has more sound deadner, the B&O stereo. The outer banks is quieter ride and has deeper bolsters. I have ran against a raptor and there is zero difference in 0-60 and 0-80, it slowly pulls away at 80-100. I have the better diff ratio and steering ratio. I also have real leather instead of vinyl.
    The raptor plays a low note through a firewall speaker when you rev it to make it sound different. Its fake sound for the exhaust. The fox isnt as nice on road, i am lifting mine and switching the king shocks.
    Every Braptor i see has broken fenders or flares, people hit them at drive through.

    • @GodspeedZRZ
      @GodspeedZRZ  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Haha that’s a lot of good information, I appreciate it! One thing you didn’t mention is how much more capable the Raptor is off-road! That’s the main point you can’t forget!

    • @Serenityindailylife
      @Serenityindailylife 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @GodspeedZRZ that's mainly the tires, I have 37s in the garage and a new set of wheels, a 2in lift and king shocks, better shocks than the fox which are valved slightly different than the stock bilsteins and have only 1/8" of bore diameter on the reservoir.
      I have had to pull out a raptor bronco and a raptor f150 both at events. One is on youtube somewhere. It's more about the driver and the false confidence that the raptor gives people because they think that it means they can't get stuck. The f150 raptor guy pried the badge off of his truck and gave it to me because his truck had to be left overnight in deep mud with water in his truck and engine. He said 2 jeeps tried to get him out and couldn't. Technique is worth more than stickers and badges, that's the biggest takeaway. Nobody goes without being stuck at least a few times. The difference is knowing limitations and recovery without damage. I got stuck once in Afghanistan during a firefight but was able to self recover with a tow strap by running it around a tree and back to the tire, using it as a winch. I was stuck like a turtle on a boulder and just needed a little pull. The other vehicles were too big to get into the area and I was in a humvee. That was the last time I have been stuck.
      I suggest going to the bronco course, it's great content and it's free for you.

    The Bronco Raptor 10 speed auto is different. We have both. Try both in Sport, and you will find the mapping in the Raptor to be very different. The Bronco Raptor blips the throttle on downshifts, the Wildtrak does not. Raptor Sport mode uses 2H rather than 4A. Both great, Raptor better.

      @@GodspeedZRZ Here's what no one is talking about.. The Braptor is largely margin. It goes down the same production line at the same speed as other Broncos. It comsumes the same overhead allocation and the same direct labor as other Broncos. The upgraded parts do cost Ford more but they get credit for the parts they repalce. If you think about the Braptor upgrades as what you would pay retail...then have them installed...then throw your stock parts away; that's when the Braptor price seems more like a bargain. Truth is Ford is making a much bigger margin on them. And there's an arugument that Ford has overpriced. There are more Braptors on dealer lots than most other trim levels. Everybody loves the truck but the price is a pill the market is having a hard time swalloing.
