I am starting to feel that I need it.. I have a 2023 base 2dr with Sasquatch and a 2021 rocky ridge f150 and I am thinking of tradeing both for a bronco raptor what is everyone’s thoughts.
Wow…….how refreshing. A realistic take on these two. Funny how often ppl claim that the raptor is not much different than the regular offerings. In reality, it’s pretty much a different vehicle altogether.
I just recently had to make the choice and decided that the 30K wasn't worth it. I'm a big fan of the bronco, after trading in my Jeep 392 for it. For what I need it for, the wildtrack + the mods I want made more sense and was cheaper and I will be happier with it.
My Bronco Raptors fenders are painted? also, bought it fresh off the production line, so I'm not sure if it was an add-on I picked or done on the newer year models?
Nice comparison. I traded my First Edition for a 24 Hot Pepper 🌶️ Red Raptor with color matching fender flares . I find the raptor more comfortable and a blast to drive. Plus I get towing capability
Everyone complains about the plastic fender flares , honestly I like them and they are more practical if you are in the woods , painted would get scratched.
The BRaptor has more in common in the drivetrain with the 1/2 ton F150 Raptor than WildTrack BRaptor has 1/2 ton F150 Raptor axles, trans which is bigger than std Broncos same for the brakes plus rims are not the same bolt pattern as Wildtrack but 1/2 ton truck drivetrain instead of Ranger drivetrain in the std Broncos BRaptor has much more upgrades than Big Bend to Wildtrack and you mentioned the dash & interior Good Video !!!
I have a wildtrak menacing is definitely a good word to describe the raptor. Personally the pricepoint on the rapture is too high. It reminds me of back in the eighties ,when Arnold thr Terminator bought a humvee and allnthe stars followed. Than they all sold them because all th y did was drop ve from gas station to gas station!!! Nice vid
@lanceevans4053 badlands is better for rock crawling. Wildtrak is better for Baja. If you just plan to drive it around town get the wildtrak. The hoss suspension is a big step up and is super comfortable around town
Had it been a V8 it would be limited, impossible to get and dealers would be looking 50k markups… it’s still impossible to get a raptor r for less than 30k over but there’s a ton of Braptors for under msrp
Let’s look at capability differences . There’s not 30k difference there . Stop comparing pretty vs capability. I’ve got the wildtrak sasquatch package and I’ll go up against a raptor any day off road .
How is the ride quality in the Raptor? I live in an area where I would never take it offroad, but I do like the power and the fit/finish... So to me does it drive on streets better? I mean buying a high performance SUV is stupid in its' own right, but I still keep coming back to all the stuff you get with the Raptor just sing to me. To me this is just a luxury convertible SUV... I won't buy a jeep because they feel smaller, and STELLANTIS, UGH!!! I did my time in a Chrysler product, and that sucked... NEVER AGAIN!
Just bought the velocity Blue Code Orange just like the vehicle they had when they compared the Braptor to the 392. This is a vehicle from the factory built on a whole other level. The suspension is cloud like. Soaks up everything even curbs like they’re nothing. If you can afford it then get it. You won’t be disappointed. I wish I was wealthy enough to buy everyone who loves offroad vehicles one. Truly a special vehicle and I’ve owned and still own some of its competition.
@@JohnSmith-sh1zg I bought a hot pepper Braptor back middle of July. I am loving it so far. I was looking for mods for it, and found a window sticker that said "My Bronco has a drinking problem!" and I can definitely agree... City or highway, I get about 14-15 mpg... But it's a lot of fun to drive!
@@grouchiegrumbles2080 it’s awesome right!! I’m getting around 17 right now around town. Seems to be getting better gas mileage after the break in mileage was up. I picked mine up July 8th. I live in Hurricane Utah but picked it up in California and had to drive it home about 6 hours away. What a kick in the pants driving it right?
@@JohnSmith-sh1zg I bought mine as a dealer demo. It had about 4600~ miles on it... I have a bit of a lead foot, and am enjoying the power too much.. haha Yes fun car to drive.
Here is what I know. 99% buying the raptor are just wealthier dorks that will NEVER use the suv for what it's designed to for. You can also buy a badlands instead of Wildtrak and get the disconnecting front bar... then upgrade the suspension for 2k! Raptor is completely useless for 99%
There's actually the $50,000 difference. Go price them out and you'll see it. I'd like to see a 2 door Raptor with a V-8 engine, but Ford wants the bigger ticket price with 4 doors..
Austin, what or who are you looking at? Your eyes are all over the place throughout the video. The shot framing needs work and your cuts are abrupt and a bit crude. These are just a few of the distractions I noted while trying to watch your comparison video.
You buy the Raptor because you WANT it, not because you NEED it.

@wallywanker7435 trade in the f150 foe ranger raptor!
I hate Bronco Raptor that I want it so bad
@@thegreatlakestrucker Well then... I picked up one a little over a month ago. Most expensive "toy" I've ever owned. Worth every penny.
💯 percent
Love the Raptor. I just cannot spend $100K+ on a Ford
Wow…….how refreshing. A realistic take on these two. Funny how often ppl claim that the raptor is not much different than the regular offerings. In reality, it’s pretty much a different vehicle altogether.
Bought a 2023 Outer Banks last year, put 16k miles on it, traded for a Wild Track in 2024. Definitely a noticeable difference.
love your videos! love broncos! keep it up!
Glad you like them! Thanks for taking the time to leave us a nice comment! More are in the making!
I believe when the Raptor debuted it was around 70 K starting. What a crazy deal.
Ugh! If true. Absolutely.

I've been looking for this comparison video on the Wildtrack and Raptor, thank you !
Glad we could help!!
The thing you guys missed is the wildtrak high lux package comes with the modular bumper.
Do you have video or link on those wildtrak marker lights? I was looking for a set for mine and didnt know which ones to get.

They do it on the newer models
All 2024s and up now come painted, ford listened to us!
Got a 2023 Raptor new last month for 83K
Where? I want one
Where is this video of wildtrak vs big bend? I couldnt find anywhere in the channel

2024 Bronco raptor comes with painted flares. With gloss black option now
Thank you ford

I like the in depth but not too technical approach you guys took with the review 👍🏻
Glad you liked it!
Wish they made the raptor in a 2 door, I'd be sold
You are speaking my language. 😍😍
They would sell like hotcakes with the soft 🔝
Are they based on the same frame?
Yes

The only problem with this Raptor is the engine ..It should have a V8...not that 3 liter V6 ...

Thanks Ford, for pricing out the common person from the Broncos. My 2024 is being built as I type this!!
Don’t you think if you put 37s on the Wildtrak it would be the same hight.
It's basically a G wagon
Man.... Definitely different vehicles. Going after same concept, very different though.
CLOTH SEATS NEED TO BE AN OPTION. People who take the top off will fry and also damage seats with sun
IMO……the Badlands is the best Bronco pound for pound
Because of this comment, we have a badlands vs wildtrack video coming out this weekend!
Let’s look at capability differences . There’s not 30k difference there . Stop comparing pretty vs capability. I’ve got the wildtrak sasquatch package and I’ll go up against a raptor any day off road .
The capability is where the $30,000 difference is…..?
Sorry but no. This Braptor is still on another level. I can still appreciate what you drive though.
The Raptor fender flares look horrible, it ruins it IMO. I think the WIldtrak looks better after factoring that in.
For 2024 they come painted which I think makes them look far better than previously
Over $90k for a Raptor bronco??? I’d go with the Raptor F150 for less money and have way more truck
cant justify it can get a raptor ranger fully equipped 59 thousand
Agreed
Parking the raptor further ahead of the wildtrack will always make it look bigger😂😂. Don't be student
