- We take on quest 2 of the campaign!
Call it distraction from a confusing lever pull or being rusty (or both?) but I made a lot of little errors in this beginning section. I tried to annotate when I caught them. Apologies!

Great work from you!Thanx a lot for the series!I think i actually know how to play and how the game plays from you!Good stuff... Keep it up! 💪
Thanks for watching. I know I miss a few details in most sessions but I feel like I’m finally getting the rhythm of the game and how it plays. Happy to have you along for the ride.
Great to see another episode! Will be watching this while assembling a bunch of cultist miniatures :D
I’m sure it’ll be pleasant when you run into them!
Thanks for doing these! Great vids!!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching.
Aagh! I hate cliffhangers. Good job at hitting the 1 hour mark, but I would prefer to cut after the fight ends. Oh well, I will be waiting for part 7. And thanks for a dose of LoD, always enjoyable.
Thanks! I’ve got a couple more hours filmed from this quest so I wasn’t sure exactly where to end it. I felt that way too but 1 hour seemed good place to stop. I appreciate the feedback back. I’ll try to avoid these kind of cliffhanger from now on!
@@saveyourgame5578: Eh, what's the difference: Four 1 hour episodes or one 4 hour movie? Its the same story. The difference is how much time you have to play, film, edit, add comments, etc. I know it takes a lot longer to make a video than to watch it. So don't mind me, I was just (trying to) being funny. Except the last part; I really do enjoy watching you play.
I do believe that any ZOC squares are 2x whether within or moving into.
This is pretty typical of skirmish games like MESBG etc.
Thats what I thought as well but my latest read of the rules made it seem otherwise. Thanks for the comment.
Hi there are some things that i don't understand.
-Your archer seems like has done 3 actions against the monster in his 1st turn (2 attacks + 1 move?).
-The monster's movement ability is 4 or 5? Because on it's 1st activation, he moves of 5.
-Bomber/Bamber movement around the monster is correct? His movement of 4+1, but to reach the position that it takes (behind the enemy) he needs 6 movement (3 squares all into the monster's z.o.c.). Isnt' it?
Anyway, very enjoyable video, thanks
Hi there, thanks for the comment!
- I got a perk that allows my Ranger to have 2 attacks during an AP. So I shot twice during the first action and moved/reloaded (a specific Ranger action that is available) for the second.
- His movement is 4 and he only has 1 AP due to being wounded. Since he is large he is able to expand into any of the 4 spaces touching his last movement space. It's similar to how big monsters work in Descent: shrink, move, expand in any direction.
-As I read it in the PDF, I believe this to be a legal move for Bombur. PG. 91: "A model’s moving from one ZOC square to another ZOC square must use 2 Points of Movement in every square."
Why was Monte released all creatures are part of the same encounter.
It’s been a minute but I treated the Shambler as the fight for that encounter since I didn’t open the door. It may have been in error but in my mind they were separate encounters.
Started this quest with a new party and had 6 zombies in the first room.
Not good. Fun but not good :)
Ouch! It’s really amazing how drastically different the encounters can be.
@@saveyourgame5578 just fled on the fifth exploration card. Think I need level 2 to get through this quest and just grabbed enough XP to make it.
