    Awesome video! I got same noises on my 2019 peugeot 308. Had all 4 injectors and fuel filter replaced and it's still doing the same, but after driving around 50 miles it starts losing power and it's shaking. When i accelerate it kind of gains power back but not for long. It jadders a lot, as if i was in a wrong gear (mind you it's automatic). Revved the engine and it did exactly the same loud knocking as you showed at the beginning of your video. No engine management light on though! Weird... but it's peugeot... my mate suggested timing belt as well. I'm out of options and it's a taxi, 110k miles done. Had it only for 10 months and already pumped so much money into it, like you did with yours

      It sounds kinda the same as my injectors issue but you've replaced them, so it could be clogged fuel lines maybe, or air intake problems. Maybe a sensor like "mass air flow " dose it have trouble starting too??

    Hi mate went through the same thing as I was losing my mum went out at the age of 41 bought a Ford focus cc 2l diesel . Always drove petrol cars ended up having to replace all my injectors and have the old ones tested thousand-pound DPF was fxxked the hardest part was found in a mechanic that just didn't want to do MOTs or brakes. £1000 car turned into a £5,000 car as they are getting rear ended up parttin all the pieces out and getting a different good luck from Liverpool

    I got the same sounding problem on my Clio 1.5 dci. It sounds the same as yours when accelerating but mine doesn't gain RPMs. It's just knocking sound with no power at all, smell of fuel/burned oil in cabin and smoke from the exhaust. It kinda goes back to normal on occasions, but it happens so randomly.

    • @GPTV2020
      @GPTV2020  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's probably just dirty and that's why sometimes it's fine, also if there is no power it could be your computer not allowing it to rev so as not to damage anything.

    Happy to see you got your Accord back! Hopefully you'll get few more years out of it. The early mk8 Accords are showing now their age though. I got my fair share of issues last year too, rear brake caliper seized (seems like a common problem in these models) and the ABS pump died. I was lucky I could find a refurbished one but it wasn't cheap.

      @@GPTV2020 have the same accord, GT version. Best thing i ever did was remove that fooking DPF filter the minute I bought it. I put diptaine in the fuel every time i fuel up, this does wonders for the engine, injectors, exhaust system and general engine health. I also change the oil every 5k I know that's an overkill, but it keeps the carbon to a minimum, they're a great car, hopefully that's the end of all that bad luck and you get to enjoy it. The engine itself is bullet proof, so I wouldn't worry about that.

    I've just got the same problem. Was driving on n7 and engine light came on then dpf and exactly the same knocking sound in engine bay when accelerate. My mechanic says it either egr valve or engine..he said it isn't injector..wonder how he figured out that it isn't injector??

    • @GPTV2020
      @GPTV2020  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ah, shit man, that's bad luck sorry to hear that. Is it leaking fuel from the exhaust? White smoke everything the same as mine? It was 100% my injectors and I asked a few different mechanics, they didn't have a clue, they said it was bottom end just like I thought at first until I found a good mechanic. So make sure you trust your mechanic.

      My mechanic after first check said that it is bad injector too..but today he sounds confused. I wonder if there is any way to detect faulty injector without send them for test? Apologies, didn't realise i had done that. In my more recent videos i try to cut out any repeating statements or bullshit that nobody care about. But in my defence it not easy making videos, it takes time and knowing what to say kinda just slips your mind when the camera comes on. But please try not to be so annoyed and understand that it's not as easy as it looks.
