In today's video, I take a look at every Mario Kart game from Super Mario Kart for the SNES to Mario Kart Tour on Mobile and look at all the Mario Kart Tracks that were removed from the cups of the games. - เกม

Actually Tour DOES have an unused course: Coconut Mall. It's been in the files for a very long time. The 8dx dlc is using this version.

There are plenty of courses waiting to be used in Tour's files. N64 Luigi Raceway, GCN Waluigi Stadium, Wii Toad's Factory, and so on.

There's actually an unused SMK track. It's Choco Island 3 because Rainbow Road didn't exist yet, Mario Circuit 4 was originally the final track. Eventually they made the choice of cutting CI3 for Rainbow Road
Correct i've leant that only few weeks ago. In SMK beta, track order is completely different. Donut Plains 1 is the first track, all four Mario Circuit are the final track of each cup, and the scrapped track Choco Island 3 is the third track of special cup. Rainbow Road didn't existed yet, and also Vanilla Lake 1 crashes the game everytime we try to run it.
"Douken Course" is giving major Koopa Cape (Wii) vibes and I suspect it was an early rendition of driving in pipes and allowing you to drive on walls etc
4:50 Luigi Raceway GBA had weather effects in MKDS, and Neo Bowser/Koopa City has rain as well
Gusty garden *ahem* sorry cloudtop cruise uses lightning to disable boost pads too.
And you could count the time of day changing in Sunset Wilds if you wanna reach a bit
and even, the course doesn't have rain, he just put it in the gba luigi circuit slot which is coded to rain
Super Mario kart actually does have an unused track Choco island 3. It was removed so they could have the last cup have rainbow road to finish off the game

There's a Mario Kart Wii custom track in CTGP currently, called Warp Pipe Island. It's actually based off of the unused pipe course from Mario Kart DS, it's pretty cool.

Town might have made a good battle map. The Pipe one should have been re-used in MK8 with anti-gravity.
Dynamic weather would be a cool addition for MK9.

Nintendo has actually played around with the weather mechanic, in koopa city there is rain included on that map

About the scrapped circuit from Mario Kart 64, this is supposed to be an area that was created for Zelda 64 (the beta version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time), And that is corroborated thanks to old images of the game's beta in magazines like Nintendo Power. In the end, he was scrapped from that game as well. As you say in the video, that area was recently discovered in the well-known "Nintendo Gigaleak of 2020", 23 years later since its original release. The most curious thing is that this map was discovered in the archives of MK64, which makes it clear that there was some thought of reusing this town for a track, which ultimately didn't happen.
That is not true the course actually has nothing to do with zelda 64
@@linkspokemon4114 Uhh in fact yes. In my comment I had just said that the town appears in olds screenshots in magazines like Nintendo Power as proof. If you want, you can google the deleted contents of the Zelda OOT beta to see what is.
What about the early Splatoon weapons in Super Mario Maker? It could be the same situation.

Actually, SMK did have some unused tracks, most of them were beta tracks that were eventually reworked into the new versions, but also choco island 3

donkey_course in MKDS being the early Waluigi Pinball is a weird one. There is a kiosk demo of MKDS out there which contains donkey_course as an early version of DK Pass with a grassy mountain theme instead of snow. The early Waluigi Pinball also exists there, as does the even earlier luigi_course.
Actually Choco Island 3 from Super Mario Kart was scrapped in favor of Rainbow Road.

a modder actually ported the model for dokan course and textured it as a custom track in mario kart wii ctgp called Warp Pipe Island. it's pretty cool since it has the layout of dokan course but as a full playable version
Nice that the Dokan course got another chance in tour and will probably be in wave 6

Last time I tried to do battle in CTGP it caused the game to load into the most recent course (including the alternate mario circuit used exclusively during the driving over to the award ceremony) and then the game would crash after the battle ended. Would be really cool to see them add custom battle courses or even online battle mode with 24 players~

Actually the weather in Neo Bowser City, GBA Luigi Circuit or Animal Crossing absolutely does not affect the race, which is what he meant I think

All mario kart ds unused courses actually did get textures, but they were only in the Beta (Kiosk demo) Version. All footage you have appears to be the Final game with the Beta textures.

Super Mario Kart does have a scrapped track. Originally the final track in the Special Cup was going to be Choco Island 3, but it was replaced with Rainbow Road.

Say, that is quite interesting to note about the unused tracks that Nintendo never implemented in some Mario Kart installments. Of particular note and interest to me that caught my attention is an unused track from Mario Kart DS known as the Noko Noko track or whatever it was called. And the one unused track in Mario Kart 64 is what also caught my attention, considering that it is literally a maze-like course and it does, indeed, kind of looks like a challenging track, because of all those crazy 90° turns. I would find that unused Mario Kart 64 track hilariously amusing. 🤣👍

I want WiFi Test to have the scrapped Weather Mechanic to become Weather Stadium if we get it in a future Game, similar to Ninja Hideaway there's some alternate paths like you can either go to the part of the track with falling hail that freezes you or Thunder that has the same effect as Lighting and on the final lap, a secret passageway opens up with lots of wind making you slower giving you 3 options on where to go

There was one unused track in Super Mario Kart, which was Choco Island 3. It originally was going to be in Rainbow Road's spot.

I'm pretty sure Noko is Mushroom in Japanese, so it's English name is Mushroom Mushroom Beach. It also reminds me of Koopa Troopa Beach but also Shy Guy Beach from the N64 and GBA
Maybe Koopa Troopa Beach or Shy Guy Beach were considered for retro track slots
In Mario Kart Wii, Multiplayer version of the Award Ceremony Track goes unused as the Single Player is used, even when playing in Multiplayer.

Mario Kart Super Circuit has a unused circuit wich fans named Treetop Circuit
Mario Kart DS has a beta version of DK Pass wich has green textures in place of the snow, and had Thwomps at the end of the course.
I've heard somewhere that Shy Guy Bazaar was scrapped for Mario Kart 8's DLC (not the Booster Course Pass).
Mario Kart Tour, has two unplayable unused courses wich are internally named MOBnu and MOBmu. Fans theorise that those are just test courses due to objects on them also being found in other tracks (Piranha Plant Cove and Madrid Drive respectively). Also, there are unused objects that indicate the existance of GBA Cheese Land, Wii Block Plaza, 3DS DK Jungle, Music Park, Wuhu Loop and Maka Wuhu.
Someone completely revamped DS Dokan_Course as a custom track for mario kart wii, it's called warp pipe island.

GCN Mario Circuit was used in the Mario Kart after the one it was cancelled in so hopefully we can see the town track from Mario Kart 64 and the beach track from Mario Kart DS in future Mario Karts.
Actually there's a track of Cheep Cheep Beach from Mario kart DS and now in Mario kart 8 and Mario kart 8 deluxe
I feel like them naming the early build of Waluigi Pinball ‘donkey course’ may have been a nod to DK Mountain, in that you start off both courses by launching from a cannon and working your way back down to the mountain’s base

I have an interesting theory about the MK8 WiFi test track... Obviously it's most likely just an online test track but what if it was planned to be a pre-lobby race course that you could go around while waiting for people to join.

Fun fact. 4 of the Mario kart ds unused tracks are in Mario kart wii and in Ctgp nitro.
the next tracks i want to see in the next mario kart game have to do with tracks from other smash character's racing game/video game series (sonic and sega all stars racing normal/transformed and team sonic racing tracks for sonic, f zero tracks for captian falcon, any minecraft marketplace map thats a racing track for steve alex enderman and zombie, etc)
plz reply if you know the name of any maps in the minecraft marketplace that you race other players in
it does not need to do with vehicles but it cant be anything to do with racing on foot
if a mario kart 8 or mario kart 8 deluxe track crashes it means nintendo didnt put at least one coin in it as whenever you try to play a course with no coins at all it will crash so to be able to see the courses you could not see bc they crashed in both mario kart 8s you need to place a coin somewhere in the track

Tour does have unused tracks. There were two unused test tracks called mobnu and mobmu.
So, theres this mod: CTGP NITRO, for MKDS that has all GCN Mario Circuit, Beta Pinball (Donkey Course), Nokonoko Beach and Dokan Course

the one that can hurt your eyes is a version of wii mario circuit that has textures that hurt your eyes

Actually there are two unused test maps in Tour. We don't know what they look like but it said MobNU and MobMU.
That Desert Track that was you showed twice one second to last wasn't scrapped as it's Dry Dry Desert from Mariokart 8 Deluxe.
And if a New Desert Track is put in I'd like Kalimari Desert ( N64 ) preferred or Dry Dry Ruins ( Wii )

Ok, 3 things.
1st: Why don't you show footage of every Track that DOESN'T Crash (for example for MKW and MK7 you didn't show ANY gameplay about the tracks. You just talked about them
2nd: MKW has way more unused Tracks than the ones covered in this Video. I have them all here (it's not THAT many more, but still)
3rd: The MKDS Beta Course named "Donkey Course" was a very old Version of DK Pass (without snow and any sides), not Waluigi Pinball. Either they got mixed up somehow or.. idk what happened. But Donkey Course and Waluigi Pinball Beta are not the same and don't have the same name!
