honestly you just made my day this is definitely the same issue I'm having and after 2 hours of dealing with blackstone telling me it was my igniter or regulater came across your videos luckily and can't wait to see if thats my issue
Mine was pretty much brand new still. Only used it a few times so I was really pissed thinking it was a defective piece of junk until I found that. Made no sense why the flames were burning out the back of the knob....lol I hope it's your problem too, even this smaller one wasn't cheap.
@JamesH2 it definitely was picked up kine last year used it once then this year same flames underneath. last night took it all apart and a big old junebug was stick in the line
