It's cool, except for the 30m WR. That's a joke. They even have the bulky crown locking mechanism, and it's clearly not a flimsy dress watch. 100m WR should be a given.

My understanding is 3-bar or 30m WR is actually only good for water splashing like washing your hands. For use in shower or swimming, it has to be at least 6-bar or 60m WR.

My wife and I (150mm and 160mm wrists) are loving your channel as we get into watches! Please do more IBWC videos!… Some watches we have found that are worth a mention… The Oris Divers 65 (40mm and 36mm) have a slim profile, excellent design, and lots of color and size options for smaller mens’ and womens’ wrists. The same is true of their Big Crown Pointer Dates. Also, the dial on the Oris Artelier Grand Lune 36mm is beautiful. There are several watches that you’ve mentioned on your channel already that are on her “wish” list, but she went with the Grand Lune as her first mechanical watch. Speaking of moon phase complications and beautiful dials, the Meistersinger Lunascope is stunning watch, and I kind of like the single hour hand design.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. The 30m of water resistance argument seems a bit silly. Yes, Panerais have historically been dive watches but this one is not. And really, how many days of the year are most people going swimming or diving? Cleary if you go for a daily morning swim and wear your watch for it, this is not the watch for you. Otherwise, it is a great looking watch that wears nicely kn a small wrist and can be considered as a great entry into a new market for a brand that is not seeing as much financial favor catering to their historical base.
Great review as always highlighting both the good and bad of the watch.

30 meters/100 feet/3 bar: General water resistant watches can withstand minor moisture from splashing, but should not be worn for swimming, diving, bathing, or showering. These watches are the most misunderstood.

I'm happy to see the first few comments taking issue with the elephant in the room: 30m water resistance. Everything about the watch is like a replica of a Panerai that never existed - except that it's real. Panerai has gone the way of fashion watch for at least a few years now, being desperate to sell some timepieces to anyone, since their customer base has essentially shrunken down to only Paneristas. The company has lost the plot. This brand could actually benefit from divorcing their patrimony and heritage and do something completely different.

I have considered the Due for my 6.5-inch wrist but like many have said already, the 3 bar water resistance was a dealbreaker. I do not expect full diver specs for what is essentially a fashion or dress watch version of its larger professional counterparts but 10 bar WR would have at least made it a more versatile casual sports watch.

I have a smaller wrist too and in my collection is A Nomos Neomatik Club 36mm. I do rock a 44mm Panerai Luninor as well. Love it. I kinda like the Due line because they are really beautiful , BUT there are some things that turn me off. Crownguard and 30 meter WR? Really? Seriously? A dive watch that is not built to Dive? Blows my mind. Great review though and awesome topic! Keep them coming! Awesome!

Tbh, I wasn't expecting much going into the video (Panerai's design language never speaks to me) but I have to say, that watch actually looks pretty good.
    Thanks for the vid Jenni!

Yes, more videos about watches for small wrists would be great. What about reviewing the Rolex OP 31?
