Gary and I spend the day ice fishing for brook trout we also fixed up our shore lunch spot with a new table, a nice bench, and an iron fire place to cook over

Great video Bob..., just the right length to watch on my lunch break. Had leftover ribs (crock pot for 5-6 hours first then finish broiling in the oven, slathered in sweet & spicy sauce, sooo good) But fresh trout, that'd top my lunch for sure. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us good sir.

It's been a very nice winter here in North Dakota, too. But, it is a bit worrisome to think of this climate staying like this. Last winter we had record snow fall so I dont know what to think any more. Your meal looked delicious. Your camp looked cozy and warm and you definitely had the fishing hole of the day. When I saw you setting up the fire ring it reminded me of the first “rocket stove” I used.. it turned out that the tub from an old ringer washer made a great fire pit with all the holes. They make a great BBQ half full of sand if you find any still around.
