    Could you compare the Huion 27 to the Xencelabs 24 (that you also reviewed)? They are very close in price and specs but the Xencelabs looks like a more polished device with better peripherals. The big extra feature that Huion has is 10 point touch, which I'm used to on my Surface Pro. Are the Huion 4th gen pens better than Xencelab's? Love your reviews and would really like to see this comparison.

    I asked 陈瑜璟 who reviewed kamvas pro 27 if there was a jittering problem. And 陈瑜璟 answered "no". I think you need to ask the service center. Looking at it, your kamvas pro 27 has a lot more jittering problem than the kamvas pro 24 you reviewed a few years ago. I'm sure it's defective.

    • @SD-oe6vv
      @SD-oe6vv 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've experienced jittering with displays connected to Windows-based PCs or laptops. However, the same display connected to a MacOS laptop produces smooth strokes. I encountered this problem with Wacom tablets and Cintiqs, which led me to switch to an iPad Pro for a flawless experience. However, I had to compromise on many levels, including the large-screen experience and the great brush engine that Procreate can't match. I hoped that Apple might release an 18- or 20-inch iPad Pro, but it seems that this is not in their plans at all.

    Great review as always! Interesting that you found a little diagonal wobble/wave! While testing the Kamvas Pro 19, I wasn't able to see it. But, I'll test again. And also now I'll test it on MacOS and see if that makes a difference.

    Great review. I got the Huion 24 Plus a couple of weeks ago. I knew this one was coming, but figured the price would be high and I don't need touch, so I decided to go with the 24" and not wait for this. It looks like a great device, but for the same price I now got a decent size pen display and a new computer to go along with it. A lot of software I use still isn't touch ready. Due to the nature of my work, the 16"I've been using is too small, the larger pen display has impacted my workflow very positively and cut back my working time by a fair percentage.
    Now 4K would have been nice, but I'm pleasantly surprised that the 2.5k on the 24" looks pretty decent. A size like this needs an arm for sure. It took me 3 days to realize that and got an Ergotron arm for mine. That is such a pleasure to use. I also did get the PW550s pen, I enjoy the thinner one so much more. It's similar to the thinner pen you have, but pen tech 3.0+ instead of 4.0.

    Hello! :) I know it's not a big deal for a lot of people, but i am so used to the Ipad Pro that I can't stand distance between pentip and stroke anymore (because of glass/coating thickness). When i see reviews of the new Cintiq pro's, they seem to have resolved that issue. Alas i saw also a review of the Huion Kamvas Pro 19 where a distance seems noticable.
    Can you please confirm this? Thanks in advance :)

    While I like the product (as a package) and purchased one direct from Huion, dealing with their customer support is like pulling hair. I had to argue with their customer support for a week to get a replacement unit as mine had dead pixels. Then I had to wait another week to receive a replacement after shipping mine out. Huion didn't want to either do a credit card hold or just outright send the replacement before I shipped mine out. Effectively I wasn't able to use the unit I paid money for, for a week, for no fault of my own. This is a device I bought to get work done on. The replacement unit also has dead pixels and minor pen tracking issues (The pen straight up doesn't work in the bottom left corner). Does nobody check these units out before shipping them out? Now I have to go and argue with customer support again.
    This is some of the worst customer support I've had in a long time. Dealt with Canon, Sennheiser, Behringer, Shure, Sony for prosumer product issues. Not always perfect, but great experiences across the board. Huion is the dollar tree of customer service, and they can't seem to speak English to save themselves. Incredibly disappointed for what is a pretty solid product.

    Got to be disappointed that the touch does not work with Mac. Otherwise this would have been my go to drawing display. For my use 27" is about the optimal size, I've been waiting for Huion to release this size. But touch not working for me is a huge minus. If that doesn't change, I would probably just choose to save 1000€ and go for the 24", even with all the other advantages this would give me. Why would I pay for touch screen if I can't use it. Wacom 27 is not an option as it is way too expensive for me. If I could get a non-touch version of this with something like 400€ off the price, I'd take it, but paying 2000+€ for touch screen, seems mental if the touch doesn't actually work.

    What I learned from drawing on a 24“ Cintiq for mote than 10 years is: it is so much nicer to draw on 13“ to 16“ sized screens. I have bought the 24“ because I thought that bigger is always better but I was wrong. Use a 27“ screen and a 13“ drawing tablet as a second screen. Or use a tablet, like the iPad Pro. Those are easy to hold, you can move over to the sofa instead of being glued to the desk.

    I seriously compared the Xencelabs 24 and the Huion Kamvas Pro 27, and finally I bought the Xencelabs 24, but even now I still wonder if I made the right choice?
    I don’t have the additional budget to buy the Huion Kamvas Pro 27, but I would like to know which of the two has a better user experience.

    Hi Brand and follower, I'm writing to you because I need your advice on purchasing a new pen display. I just sold my Cintiq Pro 16 because it was too small for working on ZBrush and Substance Painter. Within my budget, I could afford either this Kamvas Pro 27 or a Cintiq Pro 24. What do you recommend, considering that I'll primarily be using it for sculpting and texturing? Thanks a lot, Danilo.

    This is very nice but I think their last gen model (24" 4k) is a good balance between features, price and size. Touch is nice but if you're a sculptor, you'll most likely end up using your keyboard anyways. Plus the screen texture on their 24 inch feels really nice.

    I have the hiuon kamvas 22 and i can't imagine having anything bigger then that.
    My arm will actually start to hurt at times from drawing on that huge space. I mean, you basically are just excersing your arm at that point.

    One test that I'd strongly recommend, is to test how stable pressure sensitivity is from the tablet driver.
    It will allow you to see if the pressure is stable with constant force or not.
    To do the test :
    try to apply constant force respectively at the 200th, 500th, 1000th, 4000th, and 7000th pressure levels from the driver.( maintain constant force for at least 3 to 5 seconds per level, if the signal indicators jitters too much, then pressure sensitivity is instable ).
    So far, all pentech 3.0 and pentech 3.0+ tablets suffer from this problem.

    If Huion still served the value and the refinement top to bottom, but wisely segmented by price; Wacom would be spinning on fumes within a few years. XP-Pen seems to be doing that better overall; even if I think Huion does high end better.

    Hi
    Being a creative professional, do you see there is a huge difference between the 8k pressure levels and the 16k pressure levels, or is the difference insignificant and negligible? And here I am asking about the difference between the pressure levels between the Huion Camvas pro 27 pen and the Xencelabs Pen Display 24 pen ?

    • @exzartwork
      @exzartwork 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      the pressure is not the issue when it hits more than 2000 levels… the problem is the stability of the pen… if it still wobbly, you will find it annoying to draw with that pen… you can check which one is better in line test…
