Precious! When my son was a wee one (about the same age as your peanut) we decided to cut his hair. It was SO blonde and had a beautiful curl to it. It was amazing though after we cut it how much he LOVED it because he looked “just like daddy.” It will be sweet to see how your son feels in the future. Happy New Year!!!!
Always love watching your Vlogmas/podcast videos:). I am so happy you are enjoying your hexies and I am getting such a kick watching you open them and am so amazed at how quickly you’ve been getting them sewn up ❤️ No stress allowed though! T xoxo
So pleased to have your vlogmas to enjoy this year. Maybe a Habitation Throw for the minis to make a small blanket for baby and his dolls. I really want to make one, but until I finish my cozy memories square blanket I'm holding off. I do plan a granny stripe shawl with my leftovers from my cozy blanket. Then I can wrap myself with those memories as I move around in the chilly mornings or if I have to go out in the car.
I'm with you... Measuring, cutting, and preparing all the pieces is just not for me. That's the only reason I've never gotten into English Paper Piecing. Maybe I should look into kits with all of the prep-work done, but then I wouldn't be using up the fabric I've been handed down, and I would be adding another craft to my repertoire. What I need is someone like your mum, who'd enjoy the initial prepping, but would then hand over the stitching to me :). Stay safe and sane.
Thank you for sharing with us. I love the idea of a puffy quilt. With the stuffing, does it wash up and dry ok? I'm planning on starting an English paper piecing quilt in the new year
Oh yes the quilt washes up brilliantly and after a spin in the tumble dryer the fluff is fluffy again. If any bits of fluff do get bunched together it's easy to tease out too 😊
Hi Dani, I love Epping and use hexiform from www.ashmeaddesigns.com They sell pre-cut shapes, including hexies for Epping, and you use them instead of paper. You can glue them in using the glue pen that you have and you don't have to take them out! The hexiform is bouncy so gives your projects a plump feel! I wouldn't go back to using paper hexies x
Hi Tracy, do you know I have some of these in my epp stash but wasn't sure that it would be OK to do some with these and some with paper, what do you think? I haven't tried them yet so its good to hear that you love them 😊
@@littlebobbinsknits3052 @little bobbins knits I don't use paper anymore as I love the feel and texture the hexiform gives to my projects. I use the same glue pen as you to baste them onto my fabric then I join them up. I leave the hexiform in - you could try one hexi-flower using the hexiform and see what you think. It will be less faff than using stuffing x When I added a fabric backing, I used wadding inbetween before hand-sewing around the hexies, to create a quilted effect, I finished of with bias binding around the edges x
Ooh i hadn't thought about the fact that I wouldn't have to use stuffing! OK I think you might be a genius 😊 thank you so much, I'm going to make the next one with the hexiforms 💗

Yes! A collaborative effort would be the best option with both doing their favourite bits- great idea 😊
Your Vlogmas is so lovely.

Oh I'm so pleased, thank you 😊
Maybe your hexi quilt could have a light and dark side? It does look super fun to work on, ideal for when you can just grab a crafting moment ❤️

@@littlebobbinsknits3052 wonderful! Thanks!
How many years you don’t eat meat now? And do you feel any different?
I haven't eaten meat for over 20 years now but have stopped eating other animal products in the last year and am so glad I made the change 😊
His hair is so lovely, I just given my son haircut, but it turned out a bit too short
I hated that first cut, broke my heart
Thank you 💗 it will grow again 🤗 I don't know when I will be brave enough to cut his.
❤️🌲❤️
