I watch many beautiful podcasts but I have to say Dani that yours is something very special. Your gentle nature and wisdom is something most would agree this world needs more of.💗
Lovely to see you, I'm glad you told us about the book. I am having issues getting things done; I just want to knit, quilt, cross stitch and I need to CLEAN. Feel guilty because I have been in quarantine for such a long time. I push myself to do one non crafting thing a day and then I am good.
Thanks for sharing the lovely Christmas book. I remember my days as a young mother, feeling as if I wasn’t doing enough around the house. But looking back, now, I realize how precious every moment was with my daughter. All of the errands and chores can wait, but your dear little boy will grow so quickly. Be kind to yourself and know that every moment spent with him is a wonderful gift. Invest in every moment you can and you will both have a treasure trove of memories to reminisce over in future years.🥰
Thank you Dannie!! I’m 58 children have flown and I still have stuff to do, you have got it so right, little one is only little for such a short time enjoy!! So I bought the book as the quote touched!! Thank you for your lovely podcast I always enjoy!!!! Xx
So glad you have found some time to do vlogmas. I absolutely love your videos. You are right to savour every moment and there will be time I’m sure in your future to do more crafting.
We've tried that. Unfortunately as we can't attach anything to the fence for fear of it crumbling it just becomes Ted's personal challenge to squeeze through. Luckily as its so chilly at the moment he's staying in a lot more 😊
Hi Dani, I’m really enjoying your vlogmas, as I do every year. Thank you for sharing that poignant quote from the book you are reading, that resonated so much with me. This year I’ve slowed down in everything I do but it’s true that in the back of your mind you think, I need to do this and this etc. Nothing is more important than the here and now is it. Love your idea of stuffing the hexagon flowers and making a quilt. I made the knitted hexipuffs years ago when you were making yours, since then I’ve done a lot of EPP but never thought of stuffing them! I have lots of large hexie flowers I don’t know what to do with so I might give it a try too. Have a lovely day 😊
Thanks so much for doing Vlogmas this year! I know it’s difficult with a little one but your soft, sweet music and your soothing voice are such wonderful distractions from what’s going on in the World.
Love your blogs always. Especially love the quote about why do we....when every day is all we have. Plan to check out the book. I totally agree with obviousness-like mindfulness. You seem to eat like us. (San Francisco, CALIFORNIA). And we have a few websites we thought you would like. We don’t eat meat, dairy, or oil. Dr. John McDougall and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn jr. but check out blog.fatfreevegan.com and thevegan8.com. Plus minimalist baker.com. (But she uses animal products at times). Also we love veganricha for great Indian foods. Hope you get to check them out. Welcome back-so glad to see your little munchkin thriving! Stay healthy and say hi to your mom. Miss her too!
Hi Dani, it has made my day even nicer by being able to spend time with you and your lovely family. You are a domestic wonder for sure. I loved the quote from the book, it sounds amazing and I am going to.check it.out. your hexies are wonderful. Love David's socks and the colour too. I have a thing for mustard too, and would love a cardigan in that colour. It is so important to cherish each and every day with the ones we love as they are so.so.important. take care lovely Dani xxx
It's a non active yeast and it just gives a lovely savoury almost cheesy flavour 😊 it's also packed with vitamin b12 which you only really find in animal products usually so its good to supplement or eat fortified foods if you don't eat animal products 😊
"Why do we learn to hurry through every day, when every day is all we have?" Do I have that exactly right? and could you please let me know who to attribute that quote to? It's wonderful that you don't have enough time in the day to get everything done because that means Little Bobbin is growing up with Loving Mommy right at hand. Stay safe and sane.
I particularly enjoy hearing about your meals. I've been veggie 5 years and lean towards vegan. I feel uninspired meal wise often. I'm not a big lover of the meat alternative either.
Really brilliant quote . It made me stop and enjoy today thank you for sharing

Guilt is horrible isn't it. Be kind to yourself and do the things you love, this year has been really tough 💗

That quote was beautiful and very timely. Thanks for sharing ❤
What a great realisation! Thank you so much for sharing it - so timely for me to hear 💜
You are in a wonderful phase of your life Dani - you are getting things done and they are simply different ones that are important now! ❤️🌲❤️
You should put some mesh fencing along the bottom of your fence
We've tried that. Unfortunately as we can't attach anything to the fence for fear of it crumbling it just becomes Ted's personal challenge to squeeze through. Luckily as its so chilly at the moment he's staying in a lot more 😊
Enjoying your vlogmas, Dani - thank you!
Our little dog's name is Teddy. :)

Lovely 😍❤️
What is the yeast used for in vegan food?
It's a non active yeast and it just gives a lovely savoury almost cheesy flavour 😊 it's also packed with vitamin b12 which you only really find in animal products usually so its good to supplement or eat fortified foods if you don't eat animal products 😊

Yes that's right. It's by Jeanette Winterson. I'm so glad it resonated with you too 😊
