Anet ET4 Upgrade using a relay to the level sensor

In this video I gonna show you, how to upgrade Anet 3d printer model ET4, if you have to change the board, that it's my case, you'll need a relay of 24V DC, attached you can find the link to STL file of connector used in this case, enjoy!!.

Hello.. i have a nozzle hitting the bed in my et5 but the sensor seems to be fine (red led on when finger is close) so the mother might have an issue bad cap mosfet coil or something.. what i can do is try the relay option right? do not want to buy a new board!

I recommend try relay before buying a new board, it is an inexpensive option, unfortunately Anet has many issues with their boards, some times I think makeover with Creality kit and transform my 3d printer. Creality seems a reliable and inexpensive brand, check board price, it is cheaper than Anet

What function of S-Z pin on the board?

the S-Z pin is for level sensor "limit switch" , you can use the inductive sensor (older models), and activate the S-Z pin with a simple relay of 24V DC

The inductive sensor was deprecated by Anet (in model ET4), they are using now a limit switch instead of inductive s., I changed the board because of many issues, but it doesn't work with inductive s., then I decided to upgrade with a simple relay, I mean, the sensor is working and it's easy to adjust, the relay it's cheap, I recommend this upgrade if you buy a new board. You can use these two models, ET4 X (blue version "silent board") you can find it with ET4P-MB part number or the regular one ET4-MB, that's the model that I used.
