Sometimes "Buying It All!" is just about packing things that have been put in a garage. The best part is that about 80% of all we packed up has already been sold!
I guess I need to send you an actual letter by mail Renee. Messages in chat and by email are getting no response. I needed to ask if you still have a box I sent back in January when you opened the Minnie Mouse quilt and Disneyland jacket. Never saw the 2nd box opened. I asked for months if email was working. You said Yes, but after that I had sent 2 emails, first one about 2 months ago simply asking if this email got thru. No positive response so have to assume.... your email does NOT work. A simple yes response would confirm it is.

(There was a poly-bag package shipped after that too) There were 2 emails sent ( 1st one about 2 months ago then one 3 weeks later as a follow-up). There were no replies to either one. The purpose of the emails was to confirm with a " Yes " response... the email is working. I have never gotten any response.(and there is nothing in my SPAM)
Mr Tony must be the sweetest guy ever. So calm and easygoing. I can imagine him as Geppetto or Hans Christian Andersen, telling fairytales to children.
Here is a little fun fact about something in this house. I made the stack of decorator boxes with the beach and shell scenes on the sides. They are from a company called Designer's Attic that is no longer in business. The boxes are all handmade and covered with wallpaper and borders. The company was in business in the late 90s and early 2000s. The owner of the business wanted to hire stay at home moms whose kids were all in school. We dropped our kids off at school and went to work and when the kids got out for the day we picked them up and went home. School hours! No weekends! Christmas vacations! But we still worked in the summer. Best job ever. One set of our boxes was even in the "Stuart Little" movie. Stuart stood on top and gave a little speech at his welcome party. I was so excited to see you with them. Thought you might want to know a little about them. Oh! The company was in More head City, NC. The Crystal Coast.

That little mouse is probably so grateful you let him out of the box. Major Brownie points 😉 Those reed diffusers are expensive. I love their perfume and it's not cheap. If they're new and he hasn't taken them to the flea market he should put them on Ebay.
I found a small garbage can that had a price tag of $59.99, so I'm sure the reed diffusers were just as expensive! I'll let Tony know, he still has a few boxes he hasn't brought out yet.
Mice are so adorable! My daughter has two rats, and I wasn't a big fan of getting them, but now I absolutely love them. I call them my "granddaughters", and spoil them with their favorite foods.
Lambertville...sounds great...if I could teleport myself back there!! Sounds like a bargain price for that home...out here in S.F., Ca real estate prices are insane!!! Again...boxes to lift...better than the gym...and best part...no membership fees!! Take the box outside, tip it over and he will scoot out! Cute ending!

In my experience, mice rarely live alone, so there may be a few surprises hiding in some of those pre-packed boxes when they are opened at the flea market. That looked like an easy and clean buy- it- all with some really nice items. I prefer more vintage stuff like you and your friend do, but he should make some good money on it at the market.
Former plantar fasciitis sufferer here; I have high arches & wasn't wearing shoes with sufficient arch support. Podiatrist recommended filling 16 or 20 oz plastic coke bottle (you need the curve in it) almost to top with water, & freezing. Wearing socks, roll your foot out and back on it for about 15 - 20 min a session. Repeat during day/evening. Get some good Dr. Scholl's arch supports..it helps 👍.

We usually have some type of routine that we follow when packing. It might take a little bit to get into that routine, as we like to pick and poke in the boxes/rooms that we are moving items out of.

My cousin and his wife put a copper tub in their home and it was awesome! The tub heated up by the bath water and it created the best and warmest bath!!🛀

At another cleanout, we took a box outside that had a mouse in it. No sooner did we sit the box on the table that the little mouse catapulted himself right out of that box!
When a person's arches fall it makes it seem like their feet have grown. I always had jobs where I was on my feet, so when I hit about 40 I went from a 7 and a half to an 8 .
In today's market 1.6 is not really that bad, nor is it rich people's property in our area. The items you packed seem pretty middle class to me. Looks like pure profit , thanks Renee.
For me, 1.6 million is rich. They had a well known auction company come in prior & they took all of the artwork, most of the furniture, & a few rugs to sell at auction. When I see a small bathroom trash can with a price tag of $59.99, that’s “rich” to me. I get my bathroom trash cans from the flea market for a few dollars 😀

I took home a massive candle that smells like balsam. I'm sure it probably cost at least $50 or more in the store because it is huge. I also took a lighted magnifying reading "station", which will help when I'm working on paper. There wasn't much here my style/what I like to collect/resell, but there's always the next job!

I think you are correct about Mary Engelbreit boxes, and you have a good eye. The box does look familiar. I think I still have a set of Mary Engelbreit dessert dishes somewhere that came in the same kind of box. I looked in my kitchen and dining room but can't find them. It's extremely hot 🔥 (my guess 120+) in the attic today, so no way will I even think of going in there. It's good that you saw the boxes!

Most of my interests are collecting cookbooks, kitchen ephemera, utensils, housewares, etc. from 1900s thru early 1970s. I don't have any large collections due to lack of space. I am now retired and am finally getting around to finding and ordering hardware that's been missing from my hoosier-type cabinet since I bought in 1973.
We haven't been able to buy a storage unit together, unfortunately our local storage auction facility no longer does in-person storage auctions. I'm hoping we get a cleanout together soon!

Plantar facitis will cause heels to hurt and be painful to walk especially first thing of the morning.
Nothing beats a good pair of orthotics!
Use a tennis ball and roll foot around on it then upgrade to hockey ball. Do it everyday, it helps heaps
