A choice between the Bentley and Mac is really difficult. I love Porsches, but they're a dime-a-dozen. I'll take the McLaren if only because it's more exotic in design and layout.
Even though they’re both listed as GT cars, the 911 Turbo is really a true sports car that’s added luxury and the Bentley is a luxury car that’s added sportiness. In that regard, a choice should be based on whether you want more luxury or more sportiness. Both are great cars. I’m a Porsche guy, so I’d choose that car. The Maclaren is simply not a real GT car no matter how they market it. It’s really a 570 with just a few tweaks. That’s not a bad thing, but I wouldn’t consider it if I wanted a GT car. If you want a Maclaren, buy a 720S. It’s a real super car.
The McLaren leaves me rather unimpressed based on this video. I never cared for German cars especially Porsches, but that Bentley, especially in that exterior/interior spec, YUMMMM!! One of the very best interiors I have ever seen! Sadly, I'll never own one, but I sure can dream .

Here's my problem, I'm old enough to remember the difference between a GT and sports car. This seems to have gone now. No Jensen Interceptor, the Aston Martin has crossed over from the V8 coupe and Volante, which had a similar look to the Bentley V8, But now are more like a Ferrari F8 Biturbo, in the guise of the DB9 and 11. Is this the reason you did this comparison with two cars that only have engine size and price point in common? Are you going to test the 911 turbo and Maclaren GT against the Bentayga V8 next? It is sad to see the demise of this type of car, Conti GT, for low slung sports cars masquerading as GT's.
Alistar says "to be honest" more times in the video than I'd prefer to have my attention diverted to. I'm also questioning the validity of use of the phrase "to be honest".. it somehow makes me think that it is necessary to be mentioned at other times as well, to not feel as though not mentioning it might be dishonest, even if in some harmless way.. Just saying. Oh, I love how delicately they understand and appreciate little details and how eloquently they put their observations into words (except declaring being honest every so often 🙂)
Very hard comparison as one is a red Audi and the other is a Supercar /Sports car. I don't think they could get more different other than having a V8. Comes down to what you want. A luxury car in the Audi or a sports car in the McLaren. I would always go McLaren due to the drive being more important and the looks of the McLaren look more special. Really not a fan of the interior color spec on the Bentley. Too close to McDonald's for my liking

A Bavarian Bentley if BMW had grabbed them up.. But certainly the B is for Best of Britain for sporting lux until; the DBS redux shaped smartly fighting off some eyes towards the Wraith.
The 911 Turbo cannot be compared to these two. The track ability of the 911 is heads and shoulders above the Mac/CGT. You could daily the 911 and do the odd track/lapping/driving school. You simply cannot in the other two. Facts!
At no point did they compare any of each vehicle's features to the Porsches. Didn't compare handling, steering, power, interior, technology etc. And wasn't that the whole point of the video?? To see which is the better Touring Car compared to the Porsche. I don't even remember them mentioning the Porsche throughout the vid as I slowly fell asleep. Those two should never ever be involved in any car comparison again.... Cuz there was no comparison. They were basically doing a review specifically on the vehicles they we're driving.... But they weren't even reviewing the vehicles!!! Short of some obvious "the Bentley is a lot heavier than the McLaren" comments!!! But finally at the end, they came to the conclusion that the Porsche is still the winner for best GT car even though it wasn't mentioned throughout the entire 20 minutes. Never watching this channel again. I'm sure many of you will agree. I think these guys might need to watch some throttle house, everyday driver, carwow, and to teach you about actually discussing the cars features, Doug demuro. But not that detailed lol
911 Turbo? really? It's glorified a VW look. Looks the same is a regular 911. Very utilitarian with no flare! If you are spending 250K+, better either have the doors go up or luxurious accommodation like interior of a Bentley. Yes Mechanically 911 Turbo is the best, but come on man!
The fact that the 911 & Cayman is the safest choice to win any and all of these journalist reviews is EXACTLY the problem. I am (and I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who are) starting to get sick of hearing how they are the best of all worlds, and starting to feel that they are more of a perfect mid life crisis dentist/doctor car. I'm sure they really are great cars, but what I'm saying is that whenever I see a group test, I can tell already before watching the video that the Porsche is going to win. In this case, it won without even showing up! That is beginning to squeeze every drop of occassion out of what should be a special car. It's becoming the Volvo of sports cars/super sports cars. Such is the down side of youtube saturation.
Objective opinion? Is there a thing? You can objective analysis or opinion. Now your opinion can certainly be objectively informed but an opinion by definition can not be objective.
Especially considering GT cars are designed to cross a continent at extreme speed and luxury. Arriving, just as comfortable as when you left!!! Mclaren have THE WORST reliability of ANY modern manufacturer!!! Genuinely appalling if you look into it. That's just not acceptable in these modern times!!! Every other super car company has near bulletproof reliability now a days. And when you wanna cross a continent, you can't be dealing with break downs!!!
McLaren will not go bankrupt. Stop listening to foolish British TH-camrs/haters, like JayEmm and Phil Dixon. British TH-camrs like Tim (Shmee150) and James (MrJWW) are fair and more professional than those two fools. By the way, how many times in the past have we heard Tesla will go bankrupt? And Tesla is still in the game. Bottom line is, people can hate as they wish. But clearly, young companies like McLaren and Tesla are changing the game. These two companies just need to sort out their quality control issues. McLaren beats the competition, in terms of performance. Tesla is leading the all-electric car technology (although I think Porsche has outdone them in some ways with the Taycan).

Funny how people will spend $250k+ for a car that will depreciate so rapidly; how optioning up either of those cars costs as much as a very nice Camaro; how foolish the sheep act these days with gloves and masks(that won't protect you), because some talking head told you to.
