Потому что каждая вторая машина с пробегом в рф это вот такой конструктор с пробегом 155 ккм и заголовком "ездила девушка за хлебом"

I own this superb car: 745Le. Watching this amazing rebuild was very interesting. Brilliant work by highly qualified and professional work staff. Well done everyone working on this car. But I wouldn’t want buy an accident car. There could be countless problems on the future.

Even I you bought it new from the dealer you don’t know if it was ever in an accident
They went through the trouble of painting the bolts on the wings and bonnet... you would need to compare the dirt levels on underside areas of front vs rear to be suspicious of a hidden repaired. On the other hand, the methodology and replacement of front section looks legit, and the impact was really a perfect dead-on.

it can never be like factory condition. not worth repairing . it looks nice though .
In many countries there are no records of the history of a vehicle, impossible to check anything whatsoever so many of these people would repair these cars and sell them to someone clueless of the past history of the vehicle

Wouldn't touch the car - belongs straight to scrap as with that amount of damage the whole integrity of the car is materially impacted. Measurements in the factory are by lazer not tape measure.

@japanwatchconnection I agree here. I don’t have a problem with Minor damage, but once the Frame has major creases/dents, the integrity is compromised. However, the amount of craftsmanship that goes into repairing said vehicles is amazing

Looks like a job well done. But I doubt if it should have been repaired in the first place as the engine and the cradle/subframe it sits on were damaged/moved in the accident (was the firewall okay??). I would love to see the wheel alignment values before the actual wheel alignment was done. Also, looks like the airbag modules were not replaced. This is common with Chinese owners not willing to spend money on a >5 year old car. :P
I think when not crash in very high speed, the subframe can handle it.
So firewall still okay.
But i agree with tyre alignment :D

Please enlighten me why you want to know the wheel alignment values? There is so much to adjust that you will never have correct values direct from the start (unless it’s on a jig in the factory) just replace the subframe on an undamaged car and in 99,9% the values are way off. That’s got nothing to do with being in an accident

Absolute rubbish. Of course it would be allowed back on the road. There are plenty of vehicles that had far worse damage than that on our roads. Obviously you know nothing about vehicle repair. Look up salvage categories.

Creative work, but the car has crashed. The body shell is stressed and only the front end has been worked. The remainder of the car has experienced impact. Is the car sold as a rebuilt write-off?

The decks were replaced, just like the factory ones, they just took off those crooked poles and replaced them with new ones, welded them, and what is controversial and unsafe about that? if they were to test this car, it would certainly have the same strength as the factory car, that's just the factory's propaganda.

@@will1963 Any car which is repaired to this degree will run a bit wonky. Balance might be slightly off, random creaks over bumps… etc.
btw The new owner will see how one-sidedly the front tires will wear off.
@@will1963 damage on F/apron will be problem of Running balance. It can't be repaired 100% same as non-accident car

Do you guys think this car is equally safe as an uncrashed car? Those welds and metal materials have different specs than the ones built in! The body can twist just after a few weeks of use, causing misaligned tracks!
Those metal parts are exactly the same as those originally supplied by BMW, during the building of the car. The welds they did, if done properly, will 9 out of 10 times be stronger than the factory welds.
This is an OEM job with all original parts, no detail spared, they even painted the bolts!
The cost of this type of labor is higher than the cost of the brand new car in America so buy a new one if you live in North America
