Someguy I actually know this guy from highschool. I'm also a former Marine and Iraq war veteran with PTSD. And he is not a serial killer..... I'm not sure he would have become one or not but yes he was planning on killing for the first time. He most likely went through the military but seeing any real action (even though he claims he did) and he felt the urge to know what it's like to kill. Now the urge for little girls is different and just shows how sick this guy is but we all knew he was weird in highschool just nobody knew how much as he had very little friends. However this proves the millitary and VA lack of ability to properly screen and filter people from joining and getting benefits. For instance he had benefits that was helping him live to even get to this point even though I don't think he did as much as I did in the military....yet I don't have any VA benefits and can't get proper medical care to get my knee fixed so I can walk again so I can go back to work to pay bills and avoid homeless...... but they can fund and help this piece of shit

Cops couldn't necessarily prove that, but in the context of meeting up with a 12 year old and trying to lure her to his car (which is proven and on camera obviously) one can make the logical and practical connection between that and the potential kidnapping/rape/murder whatever it may have become.. Right? If he would've shown up and like the other guys came inside normally ready to hang out inside the house, it would have been much easier to make the inference that he wasn't going to do those other things. It's all about context.

Served his 8 years, and litteraly 1 week or so after coming out he murders the witness then suicides. Yes it's a long time but that doesn't mean he will learn his lesson or won't do it again.

They almost all also pled innocent ... curious what they're saying to these people this time around to make them all plead guilty. You can't sentence someone because of mere predictions. I always have a knife and a duck tape in my car (I have this obsession with being always prepared for anything so you could almost everything in my car such as a measuring tape, a hammer, nails, a screwdriver, a small tent, padlock, spare clothes, blankets and a lot more stuff) but that doesn't mean I'm about to kidnapped someone or that I'm going to stay over at someone's home. I don't want to hear shit about PTSD. I'm a military vet and got into combat several times. My Grandpa had real PTSD. He was in World War II and got shell shock but always composed himself around people because he was proud of being a man. Only when he was alone, he would drink himself to sleep and this would go on for years until his death.
Nobody I know does this bullshit, PTSD or not. He's just mentally ill and probably was from the get go. The military doesn't necessarily care to vett any of this. They just want to get you in.

PTSD can leave the house but is best to avoid triggering things or places like fireworks, enclosed small spaces or crowded rooms.
@@zone1584 As someone with PTSD, yes you can leave your house. Its simply more likely that certain things in the outside world would want to be avoided due to how they could trigger certain emotions. For me personally I would avoid any environment with a focus on hard drugs and heavy alcohol consumption. That's a trigger for me at times.
