I have been adding diligently to my Microtech collection (2 Cypher II’s, 4 Ultratech’s, 2 LUDT’s an original and Gen IIi, a Signature Merlot Warhound Combat Troodon, a Gen III Combat Troodon, a Socom Elite auto and a Glykon - Microtech is making the best knives on the planet. I have found that most of my collection which consists of Medford and Chris Reeve is being surpassed in numbers by Microtech. The innovation, ability to make knives people want, introducing premium materials like the Titanium back spacers in the MSI, LUDT, Stitch and Glykon, more colors, more blade variations - it’s like knife heaven and afficionado’s as I like to call us really appreciate it!

Wish Microtech would fix their customer service and quality control first tbh. It’s ridiculous. 2/3 of the last knives I bought were defective and I’ve been waiting 6 weeks for a reply. Literally. I love Microtech but at this point I can’t risk it.
Mr. Helms, I love the work you've done for Microtech and your firearm videos! Do you know if there are plans for a Microtech Tachyon 4? The Tachyon 2 that released in 2012 was widely regarded as one of the best production balisongs, and many people would like to see a new model with a similar design and action (bushings in the pivots instead of bearings).

The thre F! Form follows function.......... most knife makers are inted that a knife has to look cool. Sorry, but in first case a weapon, even if it is a knife, should never hurt the operator! where is the finger stop on these knifes. i'm pretty sure that the blade is able to cut fingers in half!
It has a lock for firing and retracting, when the button is moved in either direction there is resistance from the spring keeping it from firing by accident

Years ago I used to have a nice microtech halo OTF but it was stolen along with my car. I miss that knife more than the car 😒

My only complaint with mine is the spring system is very stiff to the point it’s difficult to open and close , but it’s still a great knife
