    • @Vsmithpots
      @Vsmithpots  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do miss them both at the studio, it is like my hospice care facility for my geriatric cats. We have 6 more at the house and we have found that the older cats become picked on by younger cats. So when they get frailer with age it is nice to give them a safe space in the studio for their retirement.
      It is sad because I know they will not last long at the studio, but they get much more attention from us. Morandi was 15 and Pubelle 10 when they passed. Pubelle had been sick her whole life but managed to have a good one. She was born in a toxic waste dump in New York State. I now have a 14 year old at the house who is holding his own against the younger upstarts, he sleeps right next to them, so he has found the right chemistry with them. Stay safe in this wild world.

    Hi Sir. It always look so effortless when i watch those potters pull the clay wall. My issue is pushing the clay wall up...The clay seems quite firm to be pressed and lifted. Another issue I encountered was the uneven side of the wall or the wall being thin-thick. Can you explain how soft or how firm of the clay is better for throwing on wheel? Lastly, the inside finger should exert any pressure and outside finger positioning at 45 degrees or slightly slanted? Sorry for my multi questions but thank you. :-)

    • @Vsmithpots
      @Vsmithpots  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is so hard to explain in words. Just make sure the clay is an even consistency throughout and fully wedged if recycled. Watch my beginning throwing videos.
