Fantastic the way you paint the ceiling Moa so meticulous. All the hard work you put in to creating your home. It takes a lot of patience and dedication but it will be worth it in the end. Loved the music 😊

It probably won't be possible to cover the stains with another layer, but for me it would be better to choose white - it's risk-free..for such a base. Fingers crossed "-)
No, it doesn't help as long as the materials underneath dries different. I am thinking about maybe trying egg oil tempera instead. But I will have to see. The colour I chose because it was the original colour I found underneath the wallpaper. The original look of this room. That's what I am trying to recreate. At least in these rooms of the guest apartment

Moa,You sure have steady hands when your painting.You do a very nice job even tho you think it's inadequate. Lol your a perfectionist haha I'm the same way.We just have to realize we can only try to do our best and not have to be too fussy, too perfect. But it's good to take pride in our work as we do. Jerry and I just finished up taking limbs down on 2 trees.It was a 2 day job with lots of limbs to pull down to the back of the house.ugh glad that's over.😂 I've noticed you are gifted and have an eye for detail,color,and decorating. Your personality is soo cute.I can't wait till December comes around and I can decorate for christmas.What do you do for Christmas.? Do you have traditions you follow.

Ser at du skal börja med schabloner. Mål med #torr# färg så den inte rinner in under schablonen och OBS använd samma antal stöplar penslar som du har nyanser med färg. Personligen hade jag generelt vald mycket ljusare kulörer de suger inte bort så mycket av dagsljuset och rummet upplevs större… happy painter : 😊
Moa,Is that a lasor light around edge? If yes how does it work? and I didn't know a heat gun existed .I'm hoping I can get one here at hardware store that's a nifty tool.🤗
I used a 3d laser tool that gives me an even line all around the room at the same time. I use the one from bosch. It's not a heating gun but a speedheater. It used infrared light instead of hot air. It works faster and safe from fumes 😁
Check out www.speedheater.com, depending on where you live they have resellers all over the world. It more common here as it's a Swedish company and invention. Used a lot in building restoration.
As it's lime plastered walls the tape doesn't adhere. So the result would look terrible with a lot of leaked paint (if I could get the tape to stick at all). This way I can control the edge better. It didn't go perfect but I am also going to try to do paint a border edge using a template.
maybe you want to be loyal to the original, but if there was a thin trim of white painted wood between the white and brown paint, the line would be clear and you wouldn't get too tired trying to paint a straight line.
I am trying to restore the walls like they were built. With the same method as used in 1920 and the same colour. So I am trying to give it the historic accurate look, that's why 😃
The walls look fine and they may look even better when completely dried.
You have the patience of a saint to remove paint from the windows! Great work!😊

I think the uneven wall paint will not be nearly as noticeable when the room is finished and furnished.
The dark and light areas on the walls would drive me. Crazy hopefully furniture and wall decor will cover most of it

You may want to wear a mask when using the heat gun because older paints were often made with lead
