My smaller 12 Pro still feels very snappy and fast! Has 5G and cameras are still pretty nice. Other than the battery and weight, no real complaints 4 years later!

For example, a iPhone 11 Pro Max can actually have better battery life and more hours on average than a 13 pro simply because of the 120 hz display, and 5G. The iPhone 12 Pro actually lasts a day in battery life because it’s a pro model without 120 hz. I said 7 hours because that’s when it dies when it gets heavily used. All the pro model iPhones last a whole day is what I’m trying to say

My brother was able to snag a iPhone 12 pro with 91% battery health for under $200 from a friend. He came from a XR. That’s an upgrade right there in 2024.
I have 12 pro max and upgraded last year from xr . Still have it tho , love them both , but I liked more the xr coz it was the first one that It never got repaired ahaha
RAM is definitely not the deciding factor between the iPhones being able to run Apple Intelligence. More processing power and the exclusivity of the newest and greatest is Apple's way of adding a unique selling point to the newer iphones.
@@_WF23 it can help the phone get updates for longer not to mention the more ram. The 120hz if you use it for quite some time already feels faster. Cameras, Dynamic Island, brighter screen. A better processor can also be more efficient and help improve battery.
I wish I could keep mines that long too, but I accidentally dropped it one time and broke the volume button. I took it to Apple and it’s not worth fixing. I’d rather use the money from the repair to trade in. If I didn’t break the volume button I would’ve waited until the 18 pro

I’ve been using the beta on my 12 Pro Max. Definitely lags a little bit, especially games, but not too bad. Right now, the primary bug I have is that I cannot customize the Home Screen icons anymore. I changed from tint to dark style icons to see if there were any notable changes, but now I cannot customize the icon style at all. Tried restarting the phone multiple times, but no luck. Everything else seems fine. Battery life is not significantly worse than what it was prior to me updating it. If anyone has recommendations for fixing the customizing option, I’m all ears.
Great vid! iOS 18 looks like it’s got a fair bit of stutter when scrolling on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Looks like Pro motion isn’t working as it should. It should be buttery smooth especially on the Pro Motion iPhones.

Even the Apple AI would work on the 12/13pro max. Apple just need to give some sort of incentive to upgrade. It’s a joke. The fact even the 14 pro max doesn’t have access to it, is a disgrace.
If they don't put 10-12 GB of ram on the 16 pro max, I wouldn't buy it in comparison to my current 12 pro max. If 8 GB is the minimum requirement for "Apple AI," then they need to put actual head room so that the phone won't become obsolete quickly. They are trying to make the iPhone 12 pro max obsolete after 3 generations because they were stingy on RAM. The a14 and a17 pro chips aren't much different, so the general performance of the phone is not the limitation. Just to note, the a14 has 11.8 billion transistors when compared to the 19 billion of the a17 pro. However, the a10 has 3.28 billion, nearly a 1/4 of the a14, indicating Apple's chip progression is slowing down rapidly. Also, if anyone says "who needs that much performance in a phone," we are paying a premium for PREMIUM.
Purchased my 12 pro max out the gate, and now I see why I’ve never felt the need to upgrade. I’m planning on waiting for 17 as I believe it should have the major changes.
if you can find a great deal on it then surely yes, but if you can just push ur budget for a lil bit more, then just get the 13 pro max, i mean it has pro motion, longer battery life, lil bit better cameras, and also brighter display. but if so, the 12 pro max is still just as great man, still rocking mine with 78%.
My recommended Iphone 12 pro max is so bad if you want to run gaming it's more expensive so far than other android phone but slower than like phone 300$ of products of android 😊my real experience used 12 pro max errors than my s10 pluse when play games
