ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 5 ธ.ค. 2023
- This is a recovery that we actually did last year and haven't been able to post until now. I kept more of the rigging and conversation in and limited music as per several requests that want to see more of the work. Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions for future videos. Thanks so much for watching and supporting us and please subscribe!

Well done! That looked like a tough one.
Not the easiest, that’s for sure! Heavy ass truck lol
Oh boy Casey is screaming right now! Bolt not tightened on clevis hook! 👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸
I forgot About CASEY... and now have the Encanto Song in my head "we don't talk about Casey"
Wow... you guys amaze me! Fun to see Jerrod out there in his beast too! Great teamwork fellas!! 🙌😎✌️
Thank you!
Awesome video and edit. I know it was crazy with all the camera and sound sources. Very good 👍🏼
It took a long, long time 😅 Oh well, ready for the next one!
Everybody needs a couple of good friends like these two. Way to go, Bruce!
Agreed! 🍻
Denny sure is one heck of a lumberjack!
(I saw his jeep broken down at the Montessori school in East Kel the other day, hope it wasn't anything major!)
He’s fell some trees in his day! 😅
Sounding like a fuel pump on his jeep
Hyde is frigging cool. This was an awesome pull. I can’t believe all of the angles used and how amazing it turned out. Nicely done!
More Hyde content coming up in a couple videos time 👍🏻
The filmography (editing, camera angles, audio quality, etc) is WAY too good considering you are still "small" in the TH-cam world. Some of it reminded me of full production television. Hope to see you continue to rise in popularity! Awesome work.
Thanks buddy! Not all can be like this for obvious budget reasons but I’ll sneak a few in 😅 Including a couple videos ago 🤘🏼
Great recovery Bruce! Stay safe!
Thanks! 🍻
that bank didnt look steep untill you guys were winching it back up. Well done boys
Yeah, camera really sucks for showing angles 😒
It’s so awesome to see the great group of people you have around you, that truck we very much weight reduced with no front seats n wheels off, is a shame to see it but it happens. Great job getting it done even with the gear you had back then. Your camera lady for this one was great, nice drone shots, can’t wait to see what recovery’/adventures you get into this winter season.
P.s I found your channel thanks to @CaseyLadelle aka Cascade Heavy Rescue.
Thanks! Lots more coming with winter upon us. Hope you enjoy 🍻
That cruiser is amazing!!!
Yeah, he's got some work into it! @jeklefabjrod on IG
thank you
HOLY Shiitake... That was a hell of a recovery Bruce.. Awesome Job..
Thanks buddy! Ones that you have to think and are a challenge are definitely my favourite 👍🏻👍🏻
@@BruceCookfmx I have always been good a "brain" challenges, and determining the outcome.
Awesome video!! Love the indepth format of the recovery
Thanks for the feedback! Definitely kept more in this one 👍🏻
Love the content! I also live near the cascades and it’s cool to see recoveries in my neck of the woods. If I had any constructive criticism, I would like more background music. The clip at 7:40 was perfect, just felt a bit silent before then!
Thank you and appreciate the feedback. I went less music on this one because of requests of less music and more video of raw rigging etc. I agree a bit more would be good. Cheers!
Great edit! Cool and thanks for sharing!
Thank you 🍻
Good work dudes!
Thanks buddy!
Good work on pulling that hog outta there!
Thanks Buddy!
That was Fun. BTW nice job on Mr Hide.
We had a good time!
I don’t know if anybody mentioned this, but your winch and block work wonders for a lifting vehicles to change tires, when there are significant sized trees around.
Great friends, Thanks. Tough work.
Great job guys, as always.
Thanks! 😃
Absolutely amazing
Great video. The ability to do the recovery and make a great video at the same time I’m impressed.
Much appreciated 🍻
Fantastic work and amazing problem solving.
Awesome recovery! Great plan, super effort, cool rigging and “Two Jeeps and a Hyde Beast!”
Very cool video! Bruce is a beast and the jeep with 1000 horse is amazing! The rigging was really cool to watch! I’m a new sub, I found you from I hate Casey Lovell! Hahahah!!!
I need those Diffs!!!!
So cool watching axles spin the opposite way of the tires. And he can run over a 5 Gal pale under the diff no problem. So cool
Great job guy's, getting the F350 back-up the hill...
Super recovery! Jerrod totally nails it at 36:13 -40 . Bruce, you have good people around you. That's because good people attract good people.
Thanks Doug! 🍻
Great job again guys!!
Thanks Phil! I’m sure your phone will be ringing sooner than later to bring your beast out 😅 Lots of James lake ones
@@BruceCookfmxlet me know when you need the anchor!!
Awesome!
Wow, wow, wow, wow! Amazing work, guys
Thanks!
Great job 👏
Nice technical recovery. Well done.
Sad to see that poor last year for the 7.3L treated like that glad y'all recovered it ❤
Yup! Such a shame 😣
This was one heck of a recovery - Well Done!
This was a doozy for sure 😅
Great video!
Thanks!
Cool to watch this complicated recovery. You know you’re a good guy when friends will show up to help without knowing what they are getting into. That Mr. Hyde is quite the beast. Enjoyed this immensely!
Surprises are fun, right? 😬🤣
Thank you!
You are amazing and have some awesome friends!
They’re not so bad 🍻
A handyman jack is invaluable in situations like this.. I can usually reposition a vehicle by jacking it up as high as you can and pushing it side ways.you just need to be careful especially working on a slope.
Nice job guys!👍👍👍
🍻
insane recovery!
That one took a bit for sure! 😅
Nice work! Way to get that truck pulled out. I liked the troubleshooting and teamwork.
Thanks buddy! The tough ones are always a good time
Definitely looked like a fun adventure. Must have felt rewarding once the truck was out. So what happens to the stolen truck? Did you guys get it towed back into town? Does ICBC receive and deal with it? Are you guys paid a recovery fee?
Good plan maybe have extra batteries, very nice crew.
Nice work recovering the Ford! I can't be the only one thinking "throw a strap on that birch and drag it up with the truck" lol! Can't let good firewood go to waste 🤣
Well done, good video
Thanks buddy 🍻
Bruce you need to get a DJI Mini so you can have eyes on the situation, about 30 min flight time per battery. You’d be able to watch them and provide pointers.
This is good content
Got one 😁👍🏻 this one was just being filmed for TV so I didn’t use it. Good idea though👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome, great video:)
Thanks! 🍻
That was beautiful ❤❤ looks a lot like west Virginia mountain i hunted in 70 an 80
Yall worked hard getting that outta there. Heck of a job
Thanks! It wasn’t quick or easy! 😅
Found off road Dead
Amazing work guys
🍻
Good job many hands make light work
And good hands** 🍻👍🏻
i love the buggy
It’s pretty sick!
Great recovery video. Less music and more dialogue/work about the rescue is better. Kudos to the guys. They are worth their weight in gold. My friends would have blamed the missed calls on Verizon. 🤨
🤣🤣🍻
15 hours yet?? 😱😱😱
I keep hoping he will use the powersaw to cut some blocking the right size out of the log or whatever is there......
Great video Bruce. I live in the Okanagan and ride here all the time. Would be great to know what trail you are on in each recovery.
I’ll keep that in mind 🍻 this one was out in glenrosa. Probably only 1-2km trail between pavement
We've seen and reported several stollen vehicles over the years. Sad commentary of people these days but good on you and your friends for working to get them out. @@BruceCookfmx
Have you tried a “Freewheel” for the front of your chair to make moving on uneven ground easier?
Yeah I’ve got one. Use it for longer days on uneven ground 👍🏻
At least the snow storm didn't get an invitation to that recovery party... Casey said you used the wrong color shackle... go back and try again, do it right this time... don't be so lazy or ignore safety protocols... yellow is the only acceptable shackle color in this situation...
Sad that people are thieves .. did they also steal the front seats? Great recovery plan
Yup! 😓
If I don't have a chance to see you in a Nitro Circus Event, I would love to Help you offroad Recover. I just have to get my Charger back.
"He's one of the smartest people I know" has me convinced Jerrod is a paid actor
You can"t put a price on that honesty.
😬🤫
(He doesn’t know that many people)
@@BruceCookfmx 😆 touché
@@BruceCookfmxroflmao! Your humor and self deprication is just fantastic. You'd definitely be one of those invited into my circle.
What tire size is your green jeep?
40x13.5R17 Nitto Trail Grappler on KMC beadlocks
I assume someone actually remove the front seats or did you guys take them out for some reason?
Assuming they were stolen before pushing it over the edge
have you got a long term plan to build a dedicated off road wrecker?
Also building a smaller wrecked on a 1 ton platform with 44’s that’s “street legal” 😅
That’s be cool. I’ve got a friend with a wrecker forsale down in surrey.
maybe a Duce and half bobbed with a wrecker boom?
I have a 5 ton… if I can get this channel going, it’ll be one of the builds for sure!
Sounds good let me know if I can help..
My channel has had some limited success.
My other channel in less then a year has done better
@@BruceCookfmx sent you a pm with ideas
Finders keepers?
And when Bruce said that he's out of line I spit out my drink! He's such a nice guy, and I didn't think he did anything out of line.
I wish! lol Lots of good parts id like off of it. Insurance gets it unfortunately
WOW wooooo...ooooo weeeee...it doesnt look dangerous intil one of those cables breaks...ps wat eye wana know is what in da HALE did tha truck got all da way down there thou..geez some people have queer ideas of having fun but none da less GREAT JOB guys...lord keep u bless n safe also.amen from a goat to a sheep..bahhhhh..
Why don't you off loaders carry highlift jacks
The amount of times that one would be useful is so low that it’s not worth carrying
WHERE ARE YOUR HIGHLIFT JACKS ALL OFF ROADERS CARRY THEM IN MINNESOTA
Nooo thanks. Have one… at home
another lazy recovery! ;)
Terrible sound got volume up 100% and still can't hear it
A few quiet clips because of audio recording. Aside from that it is all edited at -6 which is same as other videos 🤷🏼♂️
Who de fook is Casey? Rig?
you shouldn't try to fight your disability . There's nothing wrong if someone gives you a hand 🙏🙏
I’m still trying to learn that! 😅
@@BruceCookfmx me too. My back and muscles went to 💩 a couple years ago. I'm trying to figure out how to keep going.
I mean no disrespect sir 🙏
