- Even when its frigid cold, duty still calls! After having a little bit too much fun, this forester found itself over a bank way up the mountain with wind-chill temperatures nearing -40ºC. Casey was right. Lazy.🤣🤣🤣🤣 love it.
I'm watching this because of Casey, too. I've also watched a couple of Bruce's solo recoveries. It seems that Bruce works really hard at being lazy!
Casey has a video that inspired me to come over. Awesome sense of humor.
The world could use more of Bruce Cook. You are an inspiration and good for the soul.
Scary thought! Thank you 🍻
Greetings From Casey Ladell's channel! New Subscriber!
Same here
Welcome 🍻 Bigger and better things to come
Great recovery there Bruce and Denny.
The first recovery I saw you Bruce, you were alone and had to climb out of your Jeep into your chair. Then you went to the back of your vehicle and crawled to the other vehicle and had them hooked together. You pulled her out then climbed out again and disconnected the two vehicles. Climbed back into your Jeep and followed the woman out. That was the first recovery.
Then I saw the Bruce Cook Story and watched the entire video. I think it is wonderful that you are out assisting people with a problem and it's great of your friends to join you in your efforts to help others.
The next recovery was a Ford truck down over a hill and not running. You and two of your friends got that truck up on the road and then drug it out of the woods.
This is the third video of yours I've watched and you are doing a real service. You should be proud of yourself and your desire to help others.
Thanks David! Another solo recovery (of myself) coming in the next week or so. Appreciate you watching 🍻
Love the claw hammer
Good job getting that thing recovered
Nice scenery there, we rarely get snow like that here in the bit of France I live in, and we definitely don't have the mountain scenes.
Great job. New subscriber from Casey LaDelle’s channel.
Welcome! Hope you enjoy
great recovery bruce and denny :) always love too see you guys work and especially when the weather keeps up :) minus the cold haha
Thanks buddy. Could definitely do without the -30 🥶
it'll warm up soon hopefully!@@BruceCookfmx
Nice job. Cool seeing you and your crew.
Cool alright! Frickin freezing! 🤣🍻
Bruce and Den are fooking legends! Way to go boys! 👌
Awesome channel brother you just got yourself a new sub. Casey sent me over and suggested we would like it lol. Keep up the hard work brother we're in this for the Long haul
Thank you! I appreciate that. Bigger and better things to come 👍🏻👍🏻
Oh good! Coolant!! Fancy coolant! 🤣🤣 feeling your pain Denny!!
🤣🤣🤣
Looking forward to the next video. Stay Safe!
Thanks!
Casey inspired me too! 🙂
Great recovery! Wow, that was "chilling" to watch!!
SO glad that cold snap is over 🥶
Nice pull guys !🤙🏻 Subbie dudes seemed pretty grateful you went the distance !🇺🇸
They were great 👍🏻
Definitely a fan of the lj.
They are cool rigs! It’s hopefully getting some upgrades soon and more screen time 👍🏻
Nice recovery guys. It's been a cold one that's for sure!
Looking forward to it being over!
@@BruceCookfmx 💯🥶!!
“At least we won’t be too hot” my toes aren’t sympathetic to this line at all!! 🤣🤣
You can tell how cold it is by the sound of the crunchy snow
Oh ya!
Cool people, "Cool " video. Thanks.
Laziest recovery video every! ;)
😴😴
Nice work fellas!
I just hate when the weather is so warm that you sweat just sitting there. 😂 The other benefit of cold weather is no mosquitoes.
Not a single bug, nope! 🤣
This is probably gonna be my subaru one day...
Would be rude not to
You and Denny are the bomb buddy!!
👊🏻
Jeeps for the Win!
I didn't realize you did off Road recovery until Casey Said something
Well he's good for something then I guess!
Greetings from casey’s channel…great vid great camera work…but get out of your jeep talk to the people and do your job…oh and great job by your buddy doing all the work in -30
I was nice and toasty all day! 😃👌🏻
regards fdrom Cassey
🍻
Just subscribed man great videos thanks for sharing
Thank you! Lots more to come
Good thing for that tree.
Would have gone further down but less damage probably 😕
A forester XT, they're pricey toys to repair..
I love the fuel mileage my N/A 2.5L 5spd manual Impreza gets, and it rides better with a 3in lift and bigger tires.
I like it! 👌🏻
Sucks his car aimed right for the one chonkin tree and not the fluffy bushes 😣
Yup! Only one 100’ either side 😣
Kinda like an elephant grave yard? Where they all gather to mourn the fallen??
🤣🤣🤣
Ya, that was cold. That is all
My legs are still numb
How are you liking those Vivid Lumen FNG 5’s? About to mount a set in my 3rd Gen Ram.
Love them! So bright - they light up way down the trail or can turn them to light up the ditches for dear etc WAY ahead
I hate Casey ladell !!!!!! New subscriber from his channel!!!!!!
Who doesn’t! Welcome 🍻
get out truck and actually work 😂
You got it! 😏
Nice to see REAL Jeep recoveries instead of Casey's fake Jeep!
Would have been more adventurous going down the mountain, the direction the Subooboo was headed...lol
At -30°, probably could have driven the car down the mountain( on the road, NOT cross country), even without coolant 🌡🔥🙈💩😂
Fair point! 🤣
Do you and Denny read each other’s minds?
Spend enough time working with someone you often know the next move 👍🏻🍻
Do you hear cold winch noise until may, june,?
Nope, just when it’s that cold. Normal winter temps is fine 👍🏻
Pull him several kilometers....so, like 80 feet or so??
8:47 good way to lose a finger.
That’s why only Denny does it. I stop before it tightens then you see he only holds the outside of the loop. We’ve done this hundreds of times and are very cautious
I think cassey would do it easer and better but not as cool😅
😧😧
Another great recovery and lol....another subaru driver thinkin they're a rally driver in a rally car.....
Well it was a Rally driver in a Rally Subaru.....name of driver and co driver are on the side window
Another clueless person who comments before watching the full video to see the driver was casually driving slow and slid off into the embankment.
Anyone else noticed how useless the Subaru driver was not even trying to turn the wheels to make it a little easier for Bruce and his buddy to straighten the car up or turn it around
To be fair, he forgot to turn the key to on and thought the steering was jammed from the wreck… just a brain fart, understandable.
@@BruceCookfmx definitely a brain fart! We were on the ball with double checking the parking brake and if it was in neutral. Jiggling the key and steering wheel lock was an idea that came later haha.
My brain would have farted too being out in that damn cold
I hate Casey LaDelle. ;-)
Needing some "Sunnies" again eh? 😉
Would be nice! 😂
BBR. Bruce's Backcountry Recovery.
BC offroad recovery but I like the ring of yours 👌🏻
