Great video, I’m looking at getting a traxxas slash but am undecided now? The arrma got there in the end. A nice decision to have for Xmas though not watched for a while nice 😊 to see you both 👍
Great job Joe for putting this video together. Got a Senton brushed, converted it to brushless with a simple punisher 13.5/2s and it is a blast on the local clay track. The 3s motorheads cant even get a lap in without biffing :D
Love you guys. It's great that you both share in this hobby. What camera & mount system do you use? I have a Senton 3s & a 2WD Slash & I would love to film them. (althought I totally suck, I don't think I could make it around that track one time. LOL)
Not gonna lie, was kind of rooting for the Slash seeing as I have 2 already 🤣...but great race and some great footage. Promised myself no more RCs for a while...but quite a few folks have the Senton so maybe time to add an Arrma to the garage 🤔😉😉🤣 Wonder if they do a 'brushed version' at all, like they did with the entry level Slashes...all mine were just that, and made both 3s brushless and total came up less than cost of the equivalent brushless model....which is great for those of us wanting a more economical way to enjoy the hobby. Great job both 🙏🇳🇿🇱🇰🇬🇧🙏
Nice video guys also great track. I just got the slash 2WD vxl brushless I love it. But for racing you only gotta have 2WD short course trucks that's the way to do it. Slash definitely needs the low CGC for sure because it's to high and easy to flip. Keep up the good work guys just subscribe 👍

@@mbfishing3807 Thanks. No it's not stock. I have a hobbywing 120amp esc, 3670 3200kv motor, 15 tooth pinion, upgraded shocks, 17mm hex, louise buggy tyres (had to modify the body). Have you done any mods?
@@matthewfinlay5876 nice yea mines pretty much stock all I have are big bore aluminum shocks a 7,600mph 3s lipo and granite tires I have only had it for like a month or 2 and don’t won’t to put too much in it yet
There are so many to choose from! 😅 really depends on your budget, both the slash and senton are great bashers and the slash especially for at the track! We suggest these RC's for people that are new all the time! If you want more of the monster truck look, the traxxas Maxx is amazing!
I had both and this comparison is unfair for the senton you should of did it vs regular slash vs the senton the slash ultimate has tsm, big bore shocks and some metal upgrades and softer tires so of course the 800 dollar slash will win but who will win when you put the base model against the only base model of the sent
Again,.....a Slash is a Slash is a Slash 👍, watch for spares and tuning parts, than you ❤ it forever. Please checkout rc drag racing, there are the fastest Slashes you ever seen.🏁
They both look like a lot of fun. I think the Senton might be the better buy because it's very similar but a lot cheaper. Traxxas needs to come down in price a bit with their higher end Slashes. I think the Slash looks cooler though.

You guys a trip she's a level 2 driver he's a level 1 driver she's gonna win. The rest on track level 5 you guys look like new rc driver's keep practicing. 30 yrs in rc here . Love all your crashes. Reminds me why I run rc s 4 times a week to keep getting better.
The Senton is an obvious winner, it has so much more power and its at a great pricepoint, traxxas is just over rated and over priced, I think the only good product that traxxas sells is the Xmaxx, still its way to expensive,
Yep, the x maxx is an awesome product. I love my xmaxx and also my maxx but I wouldn't purchase the maxx again, it's too pricey to have plastic driveshafts made wrong.. my arrmas have plastic driveshafts and are bullet proof all around

Y would buy my xmaxx all over again but my maxx I domt know ... and as for the rest of the traxxas lineup I think there is an arrma that's about the same performance for a fraction of the price so it's a no go.

How come the traces don’t have the mud guard right behind the front wheel like the Denton? Does that mean the slash gets dirtier?
Because Traxxas doesn’t put them on their chassis. Arrma does.

Great matchup! I just got a Armma Senton. It’s a beast, the Scorched Parts fenders are a must for bashing in loose surfaces.
@Anton Chigurh I’m 20 packs into it with these fenders. I’ve had no stuck rocks in the steering arms but I just rc in dirt.

I say have both. I have a Rustler 4x4 and a Vorteks 4x4 and it's been amazing having two options to jump around with in a certain class.
