I can point to a huge unreality in Atlas Shrugged: A 30 something adult male virgin like John Galt, who has a crush on a woman he has carefully avoided talking to, wouldn't know how to take masterful control of his unplanned encounter with this woman in Galt's Gulch. Knowing how to do that has to come from life experience, and specifically from prior sexual experience with women, not from studying philosophy under Hugh Akston.
Mark (nice name BTW), sure. As a man who had to learn all of that the hard way, I agree and appreciate your insight. And, it's kind of funny to criticize AS for that. John Galt creates a motor that runs on electricity and is sexually confident without a (written) history of sexual practice - and the sex is the unreal part. ;-)
Outstanding podcast. A great guest, great talker, and very open.
