So... I'm curious, did you drive it home and use a clay bar, then rub it out and polish it and use a sealant and/or wax on it after that? It would shine like a new penny if you did... It's one thing to wash it to help keep it clean, However, it's totally worth the time to do a complete detail job on it... Just a thought...
You'd be amazed at what a clay bar treatment will do to the finish, it makes it super smooth by removing all of the contaminants from the paint... There are plenty of videos about how to use a clay bar... it's just amazing the results you get... give it a try, you won't regret it, that's for sure
