Thanks for a great review video.. Just a small correction, you can make transactions above Rs. 5000 using your 7 Ring as well, but for those you will have to enter a 4-digit PIN on the POS machine, which you can configure from the 7 Ring app itself.. In fact, if you upgrade your KYC from the app, you can add and spend as much as Rs. 2 Lakh per month via the ring.. Hope that helps.. Cheers!!
@@maruthi04 you’re right. It’s expensive because it’s still in the early stages, but eventually at mass production scale the price can be definitely brought down considerably. 👍🏻
not just a fancy debit card but it's comparatively worse because it uses a wallet account and not a bank account. it will probably only accept deposits with UPI and will have a 2-3% convenience fee for all other payment methods like debit / credit cards because of payment gateway fees just like the X card by ANQ finance. at that point why not just use UPI? it's not like people leave their phones at home before heading out? :p 5k sounds way too much for a ring anyways. something like the galaxy watch 4 (base variant) goes on sale for 8k quit often and can show you notifications as well as health tracking and will look wayyyy better as an accessory than a ring. and of course you can set up Samsung Pay and use it to make contactless payments (with ANY of your cards, you aren't limited to an E-wallet)
Glad to see such products being 'Made in India', super proud. This is personally not for me, at least not yet, but I won't write it off, as many seemingly quirky and who-would-use-this products do take off in amazing ways, and then the network effect happens. Kudos to the guys behind the device.
After 55 months of use, Ring expires. You have to buy a new 7 Ring again😂😂😂. I got this info from their support team. It's not worth, don't waste your money
Great initiative just one suggestion make it affordable so everyone can easily buy . Make it so obvious that it will be their 1st priority. Idk how but make it to 1k and you'll see how big empire you'll build.
It’s linked with rupay so I don’t think it would work internationally, because most of the vendors abroad are not accepting rupay as much as they accept visa or Mastercard.

@@AdithyaShreshtinot batting from their side, but as a person who does a lot of payments day to day it gets really hectic to get your card out every time and sometimes it doesn’t even feel easy to get your phone out everytime. So for me it’s something convenient n cool but more features could’ve also been added.
They can spend max to max 5000. Or maybe there is an option in the app to block it whenever it's lost or stolen. But, if your family member or friend borrows it then they can spend as much as 5000 if you have that much in this ring's native account. It's not directly linked to your account so they can't spend more than what you have in the ring's wallet.
Hmmmm...yes its convenient but is it really? How much time can one really save by not pulling card from their wallet? Its definitely not saving any time, its seems its only for convenience for people who don't want to take out their phone or wallet out of their pocket. Is it really convenient ? or are we just getting too lazy at this point? Maybe its over engineering. It doesn't look like solving any pain point, in fact if I go out for like 2-3 hours, I will probably pay like 1 or max 2 places, for that I have to wear this ring the entire time, which does not sound enticing to me at all, in fact if I think about it I don't feel inconvenienced at all by paying through upi by phone so its not solving any problem for me. Now as cool as the ring looks there are much better looking rings for the price point so accessory wise also doesn't fit the bill. I'll pass unless I see more reviews
I partially agree on your views. However this is not for everyone. For someone like me who appreciates technology, it's cool as heck. When I first started using tap n pay via my Samsung watch, people were stunned. I still use it. It's way convenient than taking phone out and waiting for UPI apps to load. Moreover if my phone is dead, my watch will always be alive to save me from calls or payments without any limits. Coming back to ring, it's definitely cool technology, but I'm working on DIY ring ordered from china, which has 6 NFC functions. I can program it to unlock my house door (smart lock), use office elevator, access my office building (ID card) and many more . Now that's some serious use case. Being an enthusiast of technology, i always admire anything that makes life easier. Maybe you're happy pulling out wallet or phone ...again perspective ...peace ✌🏻
If u are reading this, don't trust the paid reviews and buy this ring, payments keep failing, don't waste ur money on this garbage. Instead of looking cool, it will consistently make u look like a fool. Oh and also there is NO RETURN POLICY. Thank me later.
Oh. That's bad. I was thinking to purchase it, but now i have second thoughts. Have you purchased and used it? Can you tell me more about it? What's this validity period?
A nice idea but seems quite pointless specially when spends are below 5k. This would've been brilliant to use at normal smaller shops who don't have pos machines like the smaller grocery stores or in cabs or autos so you can quickly pay but most of these guys have just paytm codes which renders this useless for quick payments
Bro I ordered a tshirt from dot company on 7th November and today it's 16th haven't received the product and no support on WhatsApp Item not even shipped yet

Can you load money using a credit card
Idk man, 5K for a fancy debit card sounds too much...
I was about to place an order, then I saw this comment 😅
True.... But it's quite tempting to me so I might just buy it later this month

I think that's due to compliance , when your card expires . The cost is just to look cool
If it is not sponsored then why did you added that coupon code in your description
its not a coupon/discount code, its invite based issuance
I can do Gpay by this ring with scanner
Bro Does it work in other countries

Do it only work on paytm pos machine or it works on all machines?
What about after 55months?
Bro can I use the Google cam you preferred for moto edge 40 Neo as well?
Only to use in india or any cntry ??
This ring will work out of India? Can I use in USA?

Really interesting product, it will be awesome to have an ring which can do payments and also track steps, heart rate, etc.
Exactly
Totally, this will be pointless if it is just for payments. India is dominated by UPI.

It's UPI all the way in India. Don't think this will outgrow UPI any time soon.
Unique concept though.
Can you link it to a credit card
Good product but I feel magsafe like wallet for a phone which holds debit or credit card would be much more cheaper and useful than this.
can we scroll insta reels with this ?
Lol it's a NFC chip. That's all
Bhai agar ring hi khogai to chor to ring pehan kar payment karta rahega aur maze leta rahega na😅
GPay possible ?
Can I do payment Gp Nd Pp QR.. with this ring?
No, it's a NFC chip in ring. Only machines which accept contact less payment will accept this ring
It works in Dubai ?
Better use phone’s tap to pay. It is more safe.
Can it be used in Gulf countries?
no
Bro how is it now? What is your experience with this ring its been 9 months plz tell...i am planning to buy it...
It’s amazing
Works really well and is super convenient
@Technolobe ty bro
Can this unlock phone and other stuffs?
No
Doesn't make sense as we tend to scan and pay. Buy a powerbank instead as it makes more sense.
Sri who to oder
what happens if someone wears my ring and then use it to do the payments?

What if someone steals the ring. What next?
How can we pay to a Rapido guy and swiggy delivery guy as they don't carry that payment machine with them?
What a dumb question 😂
Why will they carry that machine
Use UPI/cash
How can we return this if size doesn't fit me
Then first send plastic free size dummy ring, once you used all and select which one is perfect then you need to give order in their app
In the world of UPI, even though its a good product, its not a whole package.
invite code does not work
I ordered it just now. After use i will review. Hope will good.
