The reason why the knock off pencil didn’t work initially was because the Apple Pencil was already paired. Idk why knockoffs refuse to work when the Apple Pencil is connected. Disconnect the Apple Pencil or turn off Bluetooth in the settings app, not the Bluetooth in control center, and it will work. You can also dual wield knock off pencils.
Maybe if people would read the directions before they used something then it would work properly, I noticed a lot of Apple Geek's love to try and make a fool of knock off apple products, but consumers clearly know that they are KNOCKOFF'S , why not make a video comparing The Worst to The Best knockoffs?
Any tracker in the find my app and works with the find my network is actually MFI certified which is likely why it isn’t as cheap as it could be. Sadly apple hasn’t opened up precision finding to third party devices so any of the MFI certified devices are stuck with only the speaker and directions button although they still can leverage the find my network so that’s a plus.
I love bargain stuff. I got my wife an open-box legit apple pencil 2 shipped for around $50 from ebay. I've also received counterfeit ones that were sold as legit, thankfully the sellers took them back after I provided all the proof that they were counterfeit. And then I have a regular knock off for myself for $20 that works just fine for my needs. I found that while the knock off is just fine for me, it does tend to be finicky waking up quite often, where the real pencil "just works" no matter what. Good stuff! I like seeing things like this covered :)
interesting fact, the fake airtag is the same find my tracker that walmart’s in house brand sells. while it might work for a few months it will just stop working for no good reason
From what I have discovered there are soooooo many replicas on Temu and I have had 3 that actually worked but 2 of the 3 had some issues with the mic. The last one was on on point.
This test of walking away to test range is deceiving because of the buffer, you can assure if it's the range that is good or the buffer that is hiding the problema by the time it takes to reconnect, here I have one that I can walk by like 3 rooms and it still playing, dropping out when I'm already coming back (and the buffer ends) and only reconnecting when I'm very very close to the device.
Let us know if your card gets used by anyone in China or elsewhere... You're very good, unscripted. Great sense of timing and spontenaety. I admire folks who can look at a camera and just chat away like they are talking to a friend. This is a great channel.
Like any people I've bought items from Temu and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of most of them. I can't actually complain about anything because it all works and it was in my price range...which is stuff all cheapo, not because I'm a cheapo but because funding is low here, and I picked items that appeared to be reasonable. I have no doubt that much of the stuff from there is crap but I think if you're careful then you'll get reasonable quality items. I don't intend to shop there forever because I don't think it's sustainable and it's certainly not good for any country's economy but if I can't buy here because of cost I'll use Temu for at least a while.
That generic pencil probably does not have hover functionality either like the real Apple Pencil. I had a Nother pencil that charges with a USB but wasn’t very good because it didn’t have palm rejection.

That Temu "Airtag" beeping is bringing so many memories back to me. That is the same exact buzzer (2:06 that dark grey circular thing below the CR2032 battery) that I used to modify into so many Ericsson and Nokia mobile phones back in 1998-2002. Ericsson's SMS alert and Nokia's Bumblebee ringtone was SCARY (annoyingly) loud with that buzzer. Until polyphonic ringtones became the new hotness and nobody wanted a stupidly loud phone anymore.
I downloaded the app just yesterday and was looking at the same air pods and pencil and was thinking for the price that they must be rubbish so your video had been really helpful Thank you
Those earpods do connect to the iPhone like normal AirPods. You have to touch them at back of the iPhone for a few seconds and then the normal AirPods pairing screen will pop up.

So ab a couple days ago, I found the best clone of AirPods pro. That I had ever found they worked excellently, they sounded like AirPod pros, and felt like real AirPods pros. For $30 they were pretty amazing for that price.
I've only been ordering clothes from Temu, and those have been W's so far. As someone who typically shops from clearance racks and outlet stores anyway, they're hardly a difference.
Where do you shop for clothing that there is no difference. There is a huge difference between temu polyester no lining clothing that will be discarded after a few wash to a solid quality clothe you buy at jc penny.
I got a pair of AirPods as a gift. They detect like originals, they add to my iPhone like they're original, the case is IDENTICAL. I even have the sound isolation etc menus (even if they don't make any changes to the sound). The weight is spot-on, the colour is spot on. The only difference I can see is that I can't remove the rubber eartips without tearing them and the pressure sensitive buttons are capacitive. They even fooled some Apple Geniuses as they thought they might be from a lost/stolen batch of warranty swap-out units. I have no idea where they're from as I got them outside of the box.
3:03 I can imagine some hooligan hiding the Temu tracker in a public place and playing the sound to scare everyone in thinking they're about to go everywhere at once.

Definitely not top quality, but for the price, you can't complain. I bought knitting supplies there and they're actually real nice, especially the yarn! Surprisingly super soft.
your would be surprised i purchased clothes from there to experiment and they were shein quality. they were really soft and well made. Temu is underrated but with some items the price and quality is very low however simple shopping for accessories like some sunglasses will be worth it
The humor in your videos are the best, keep it up man! 😂😅
I was wanting to buy the official Apple MagSafe battery for my iPhone but on eBay and marketplace for a better deal, the vast majority were questionable and difficult to tell whether fake or genuine.
I tend to see a LOT of people with fake AirPod max as well
Just get the Anker one
@@brandon_nope Absolutely correct @Brandon!
Counterfeit Bats and chargers are a big no go.
But , hey, apple products are cheap, so just chance it!
@@brandon_nope can’t reverse wireless charge it, doesn’t show battery life in widget, doesn’t fast charge. So on, so forth
@@Mooooooof Higher capacity battery, wirelessly charges iPhones at the same rate when not plugged in, can charge iPhones faster and more efficiently from the USB-C port, can also charge other devices, charge level available without pulling up the widget. So on, so forth
😂😂😂 the $hort cord joke cracked me up… but then when you chuckled at your own joke 🤣🤣🤣
I've bought lots of third party apple pencil options on Amazon as well and they all have been very good for my needs. Not as premium as the apple pencil, but captures my handwriting perfectly and quickly which is really all I need it for since I'm not an artist. I'd recommend most people (unless they are an artist) to just go with a cheaper knockoff apple pencil option because the apple pencils are super pricey comparatively
I bought a genuine Apple Pencil 2 for £10, the equivalent of about $12 US. Someone had paid full price for it from Apple and just didn't like it. I knew them, and made the offer. They accepted. Deal done. Seriously, the real deal is worth no more than about $12 as far as I'm concerned. I certainly wouldn't pay any more for it. The things start to deform near the tip if you warm the plastic to add a heat shrink cover. Don't ask me how I know. 😒
@@RWBHereDon’t add a heat shrink cover then? it’s rubber of course it’s gonna deform, and the tips wear down you’re supposed to replace them just like every single other electronic drawing pencil. That’s such a terrible review from someone who doesn’t get how they work lol (and this comes from someone who got one for like 5 bucks too off a friend who didn’t want it)
The reason why the knock off pencil didn’t work initially was because the Apple Pencil was already paired. Idk why knockoffs refuse to work when the Apple Pencil is connected. Disconnect the Apple Pencil or turn off Bluetooth in the settings app, not the Bluetooth in control center, and it will work. You can also dual wield knock off pencils.
We did this but still couldn’t get it to pair without using the Bluetooth menu. Anyways, not a big deal.
Maybe if people would read the directions before they used something then it would work properly, I noticed a lot of Apple Geek's love to try and make a fool of knock off apple products, but consumers clearly know that they are KNOCKOFF'S , why not make a video comparing The Worst to The Best knockoffs?
WHY IS THIS VIDEO SO FUNNY, I CANT ON THE PARTS WHEN ITS LIKE QUIET 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Any tracker in the find my app and works with the find my network is actually MFI certified which is likely why it isn’t as cheap as it could be. Sadly apple hasn’t opened up precision finding to third party devices so any of the MFI certified devices are stuck with only the speaker and directions button although they still can leverage the find my network so that’s a plus.
“Maybe 4 inches, a size Im rather familiar with” got me dying on the floor 😂
For what it's worth, Chipolo sells trackers compatible with Find My (basically a better version of the off brand AirTags in the video)
Your personality finding the AirTag is so soothing )
Are there no laws against using your phone while driving in the US?
Do some more of these please!!! I swear I get their ads everyday.
Let us know if your card gets used by anyone in China or elsewhere...
You're very good, unscripted. Great sense of timing and spontenaety. I admire folks who can look at a camera and just chat away like they are talking to a friend. This is a great channel.
Love the goofy walk when you tested the range on the “AirPods”.
Bruh that breaking the fake airtag part was the funniest thing I've seen on youtube in forever 😂😂😂
This is a Temu ad without trying to be a Temu ad 😂
At 1.5x speed with Quinn in a tree, he seemed like a giant squirrel 😂😂😂😂
Nooo 😭
Pen pressure sensitivity is so important for me. Guess I better start saving.
Your temu link goes to the site in general, not the items. Given their quick turnover of products, I'm not surprised.
I don't intend to shop there forever because I don't think it's sustainable and it's certainly not good for any country's economy but if I can't buy here because of cost I'll use Temu for at least a while.
can you charge AirPods Pro with the Temu Case?
No. Pin placement is different.
"size i'm rather familiar with" 💀
That generic pencil probably does not have hover functionality either like the real Apple Pencil. I had a Nother pencil that charges with a USB but wasn’t very good because it didn’t have palm rejection.
ya fr artist the apple pencil is great value especially when wacom is way more expensive
8:41 *Sobbing* "Actually that is quite long"
I got these same earbuds from Temu, they're amazing. I wanted to buy more but they're no longer selling them, unfortunate.
I’ve seen some insane counterfeit AirPod pros. Down to the fine print inside the charging case to the Hx chip and the embossing on the box.
Yeah, some counterfeit airpods are crazily real, not only have the same fine print, same weight, texture, have the same software feature (surround sound, noise cancelling), the only thing to tell the difference is the slightly worse quality of the hinge
Sounds like those counterfits are actually factory rejects.
More of this off the cuff stuff. So many laugh out loud moments.
using phone whilst driving, and both hands of the steering wheel at times. Does this car have elements of self driving that mean that this is ok...or do you need your license taken away? Genuine question - I have no idea!
I almost burst out laughing at work over “(this cable) has to be about 4”, a size im very familiar with” 😂
Brilliant bit of counterfeit marketing
i got counterfeit air pod pro 2s and they were surprisingly good for being only $15 from temu. i never owned a official apple product and all the friends i showed it to could barley tell the difference even next to the real ones. they even had the same style ear piece to the real ones.
Great Video! Im curious what 2 watches you were wearing in this video!
The exact actual battery, I had no idea Apple invented the CR2032 FFS🤪
At no point did I suggest they had.
just a couple things here. that exact same battery is used in literally BILLIONS of things. i have to car keys with the same battery. the in ear temperature gauge i use for my children uses the same battery and clearly the air tag does, as well as the same 'find me' tag android use. and also, that noise on your phone, its your notification tone. so every time you get a notification, that tone sounds!
8:49 Size I’m rather familiar with! 😂
I got some of those AirPods from TEMU, and the sound quality is really good.
Pencil was amazing. so its around 18$ bucks?
Out of all the items today,,,, the one interests me the most is that box opener at 8:18.
Link to that item?
There are so many reasons why you should absolutely avoid Temu both from a security and ethical point of view you should address these issues to your viewers. It would be good to see a future video explaining this
The counterfeit AirPods I got won’t even pair in the Bluetooth menu :/
The pencil was surprisingly good now i know where to get one later on when i buy an ipad
I downloaded the app just yesterday and was looking at the same air pods and pencil and was thinking for the price that they must be rubbish so your video had been really helpful
Thank you
“This is four inches… size I am rather familiar with “ 🤔😳🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
Those earpods do connect to the iPhone like normal AirPods. You have to touch them at back of the iPhone for a few seconds and then the normal AirPods pairing screen will pop up.
but should we support counterfitting products?
Please do more of these videos. I really enjoyed watching this video. You seem really funny. Definitely will subscribe
So happy to see the pencil pop up haha 😂 the way you said pencil was so funny lmaoo great vid 😎
i have these temu airpods pro clone, i paid them 5€, they sound REALLY good, even better than my samsung buds live! the charging case is a lil trashy, but for the price i'm honestly surprised
Temu is genuinely AMAZINGGGGGG
13:54 it’s becUse you are in a open field and there is also less traffic of other Bluetooth devices around to cause that interference. Try the same test but within a busy city with heavy traffic and the earbuds will fail within 50 feet
Right on! You found a diamond in the rough for us in regards to an alternative for an Apple Pencil 2! I am defiantly order me one!, I already bought an actual Apple Pencil 1. Sorry but Apple has already, in my opinion, made way more off of me than we’re ever suppose to, so now time for my come back! 😎❤️✌️👌😜
@@uganda8956 I agree - I've bought from these types of stores before and the clothes from them are just ...ick....(for the most part).
At the last I thought there is going be a sponsors transaction like Linus tech tips😂.
I’m glad that there is such a things as knock off ,not everybody is wealthy
Dang the range on the headphones were impressive!
I got a Temu ad while watching one!
Does the counterfeit AirPods case charge the legitimate AirPods? I could see that being useful for some people.
Hands on the steering wheel at all times when driving!
6:49 this is us trying to find sky remote 😅😂😅😂
If this channel doesn't go 100% all-in on Find My device hide-and-seek after this banger of a video, what are you even doing?!
Yo do u think I can use the case for just my AirPods Pro 1 gen AirPods I lost the case and I was wondering if a temu case might work 😂
Quinn, have you tried these products with Android device? Things might be different with android.
Omg... The range on those earpods is sick
None of the Temu links are working.. anyone else having this issue?
I grew up in the Aves. I moved to Phoenix 10 years ago. They're just not mowing the grass at Lindsay Gardens anymore? 😂
Does the case charge regular AirPods Pro ? That would be worth it just for those of us who want more cases or have lost our original :)
Ik bought a €25 Pencil clone off amazon for my friend’s daughter and that works better than the Logitech Crayon that I have for my iPad.
Look, it has the same battery cell. 😂
this was enjoyable to watch!
One thing you didn’t try with the pencil is the pressure sensitivity and if it cans do shading and stuff
3:03 I can imagine some hooligan hiding the Temu tracker in a public place and playing the sound to scare everyone in thinking they're about to go everywhere at once.
Sorry to make a completely unrelated comment - but for the sake of sanity take good care of your heart - I've never seen you before to be honest, and this will seem meaningless to you probably, but your heartline looked to me when you showed your palm, to be weak - which indicates that you should be sure to preserve your heart and treat your heart health with extra care. Now I could be wrong, I barely remember my training from my childhood, its been between 50 and 60 years - but it won't hurt you to take good care of yourself, and if I happen to remember correctly, it will prevent problems. Have a good day.
I found a fake iPhone 8 Plus a week ago. Usually if I find a phone I turn it in or try to find the owner but this one was unlocked and it looked to be factory reset. After messing around with it for a bit I came to realize it definitely wasn't a real iPhone. It wouldn't connect via iTunes, i couldn't update it (it said it was running iOS 11) and after opening it it definitely wasn't a real iPhone, but it really had me fooled.
As one of the jerks that commented about sponsored videos recently, I just wanted to say thank you for this video. We love you Quinn, keep it nerdy and let us know how we can support you :)
Yay! Thank you!
If there’s a counterfeit iPad Magic Keyboard, would love to see that!
