When you said if that got scratched it would hurt you, I agree. I have been watching you for a long time, and the one thing I can say, is that you are a methodical, detail oriented person. You go to a greater extent than most when flipping car's. I would not think twice about buying a car from you. You are a lot like your dad, he is very organized and detail oriented as well. Hope your business work's out for you, don't blame you being nervous about the future either. God bless John Ross.

Good job on the Lexus Its very close to being showroom fresh. I still dont like the idea of watching TV sideways, even if its a giant screen just because somebody put a car hoist in the way. still betting you eventually move it lol.

Twenty foot tv but no workbench. It actually makes a little sense when you factor in sponsorships, but do yourself a favor and pop for a bench. It’s much nicer and gives you somewhere to mount a vise. You can get one on wheels that you can move around even easier than a barrel.

Nicely done. One step you might consider is wiping down the console parts' edges with spray silicone before assembly (especially plastic parts that slide/move like a cup holder). Not only do they go together easier, but they also move like new, and squeaks are definitely reduced.

  • @mikescayenne

It's all about the details. That's where the $$$ come from. I'm helping a friend sell an 09 C4S. The 3rd brake light had a few bulbs burned out. Occasional error msg on the dash. Would be dinged for $600 by dealer on a PPI for retail parts + labor. Talked the dealer down from $180 to $130 for the part and saved the 3 hrs labor by doing it myself. Pain in the a$$ to change but worth it for the savings.
