The one Silkie (Inky) was born back in September and had been outside before. We got the two new ones (Midnight and Stormy) to keep Inky company since she had been outgrown by here non-Silkie foster sisters and we feared injury to her. Can a auto door be added to it?

I personally would not. Door opening is pretty small and the wood is not super thick to attached equipment.

That coop still looks pretty small so they come out to free range a little?

That coop won't keep the chickens safe.
