I don't have Marvel United, so I'm going all in on this one. I'm more of a DC fan anyways. It can sit on the shelf right next to my All in DCeased whenever that arrives. :D
As much as I agree that the expansion included in the middle pledge is typically the best I don't think that's the case in this campaign. I would say either Suicide Squad (because it's like a Sinister Six mode) or the Arkham Asylum breakout because it's essentially an entire core box with a breakout mode which is the only way you can ever play as the villains. It includes six locations, so many villains for later use, the Joker and Harley Quinn fugitive cards so their playable in it too, and heroes who can be used as the antagonist who have their own BAM effects for the first time. That's just my 2cents that is worth even less than that 😂
This was an easy all-in for me; Marvel United is my favourite and most played game, and while I'm still a bigger Marvel fan, CMON has consistently elevated the gameplay season to season and really inspired me to start catching up on some of the DC lore. War of Light and Arkham look especially amazing, I'm really excited for all this content :)
It seems like hardly any content creators are mentioning that all of this is cross compatible with Marvel united, almost as if CMON asked people not to in order to avoid losing the license… I think the cross-compatibility is a huge draw for the game and I’m looking forward to having superman and batman challenge Thanos.

Totally compatible. I’m going to love smashing things together. Though I must have missed the memo from CMON
Whatever you have the money for really. If you don't like it you can always sell it for a profit. So far the multiverse boxes have been going for double their cost on eBay. And I know that some of that will go down eventually, but some of that won't.
As someone that went all in on MU 1 to 3 I don't see a huge need to get this in general - but the base pledge itself does have pretty much every figure I'd really want. The only two on my top desired are Hal Jordan and Sinestro (not worth getting the expansion for just them), as well as two characters not released at all yet (Lobo and Mirror Master)
I’m going $65 pledge for now, will add more expansions down the line. I have plastic tokens from marvel united and don’t think that I need more. Cardboard locations and villains aren’t needed, the base ones work perfectly fine. Will likely add the new green lantern, and arkham asylum. Not sure about anything else right now, maybe sidekicks and campaign decks.
Wise and sober take that has me reassessing. If I was to MoSCW this means Must have : Base game Stretch goals and suicide squads Should have : Arkham breakout and playmat Could have: lantern boxes Starro (more like nice to have) Won’t : the rest
I’ve gone titans+ Arkham + suicide squad. I just like the titans characters most, think Arkham is in my view best bang for buck in my eyes (good characters I know and a lot of content with extra modes) and suicides, both a sinister six and heroes what’s not to like.
Going base, Arkham, War of light, Suicide Squad I might add 1-2 more in pledge manager but that’s it. Those have modes that interest me and a high number of villains as someone already has way too much United alternate modes I’ll actually play and villains are my priority
All in. Making the space already in my Kallax shelves. They are really maxing the play experiences with this one. ... We are different in our perceptions of the batmobile.
I dont have any of the seasons, big DC fan, so might as well go all in gameplay. Sadly, went all in with DCeased as well, so its been an expensive year :)
i really like your last minute video. I was on the fence. Now i'm debating the Teen titan pledge. I dont want to miss out, but Im not sure if its worth it. Any advice?
Well I pledge for the Titans (twice), Suicide Squad and War of Light. Still thinking later on if I should had the breakout or just wait and pay the inflation price of it, I mean I do plan to sell one Titans pack after all.
I'm an all-in guy but I easily ranked these: - Stretch Goal's - JLA - Arkham - Suicide Squad+Teen Titans+JSA - Gotham City+Metropolis - War of Light+GL Corps+Pets War of light requires lanterns to boost other lanterns and as well you will also need the pets to boost the core. And the War of light Villains are most Corps exclusive Villains which also will require the other boxes. Gotham City And Metropolis go into the same block because they have support characters which are not heroes or villains so not as valuable. JLA is a super powerful core box with very good mechanics. As for the All-in, this is a much better campaign then Season 3 was so it's probably worth it for the Batmobile. Starro looks cool but the encounter looks pretty trashy. The Batmobile will be a very playable model being that it can be used by any Batman or Robin.
Retail core plus retail arkam for me and then we'll see for other retail boxes. By then there might be yet another united game on the horizon that look ls better
I admit I went for the Titan bundle and I'm probably gonna add 2 or 3 extra boxes in the pledge manager, but I am curious about the sidekick pack. Yes, you have the pets, but if you scroll down further you have sidekick cards for other players like Robin, Alfred or Louis Lane. I'm really curious about how that could add to gameplay. Or it may not I don't know.
Why not at them now to help with stretch goals, like i get it when u are unsure of thing but i just fear that many people will go basic pledge in campaign and then add more things later therefore we will have less SGs. I mean u can add the boxes now, go stretch pay and then if u dont want them just remove them in the PM.
@kotuswaifu3869 while I agree with you, I can't always drop $400 at a time. I know they have stretch pay, but I can only be making so many payments for things.
@@ketami2 I totally get u, and u do what is best for u. All in all its your experience and your money and your game. Im more "mad" at people that 100 percent know they will upgrade the pledge later.
@kotuswaifu3869 I can understand that. I'm just debating on whether I get 2 or 3 and which ones. I haven't made up my mind yet but I think I'm gonna go for game play variations vs fave characters. I admit i'm more of a Marvel fan and have quite a bit of that one. I have to restrain myself and see what's gonna be best for me.
neverplayed this system. thought about getting a copy from amazon to try it but than I looked at my Marvel Champions collection and thought no im good.
Went with teen titans pack and added Arkham and SS mostly a Batman fan so the others were meh. Want the mat but that’s already like 180 will do without
Teen Titans just doesn't look that great to me. My #1 is Suicide Squad followed by #2 War of the Light. Arkham will be good, but I will just wait for retail (and skip the two exclusives).
Like Metropolis, but Deathstroke has cool mechanic with cards in your hand, Trigon is big mini+ he got the challenge, aaaaaaaand the most important thing is Beast Boy who is the most unique hero of all of the United games.
I mean Beast Boy just seems like a more convoluted version of Legion. I agree with OP though. I know some people like them, but I’m sort of sick of these action figure sized toys in my miniature game. I haven’t even opened/played it yet but I almost have buyers remorse over Galactus expansion. Content creator even said he played Sentinels expansion like twice.
I’m doing base, Arkham, Gotham for sure, then pretty sure I’ll add Metropolis and Sidekicks as the latter combined with what I have will let me use all 12 sidekicks.
@@Unit17 what makes you say that? I basically did the ‘Batman United’ pledge but added that, the paint book and play mat. I think PvP sounds super fun with United system….what about it seems like an afterthought or unbalanced? I haven’t seen enough about I guess because what’s written in the add-on paragraph about it. Thanks!
are you sure, there is still a few hours left ? you know you want the core box at least $65 + $20 USA shipping promo box will be $120 plus post GF you know you want it join the other 14000
I don't have Marvel United, so I'm going all in on this one. I'm more of a DC fan anyways. It can sit on the shelf right next to my All in DCeased whenever that arrives. :D
I am the same, though I skipped DCeased. I skip the last DC Deck Building, too... But I have all that came before.
As much as I agree that the expansion included in the middle pledge is typically the best I don't think that's the case in this campaign. Completely agree, those are probably the top 2 expansions for most people. The value in each box is insane
100% agree
Breakout mode just looks like “dual mode” with IP holder limitations.

Going all in. Pulled Marvel out to be sure of myself and ended up Playing 5 games of United in the last 48 hours. Such a good game.
I went all in. I dont have any other United games and i love DC.

I'm all in + accessories, but I don't own any other United boxes.
Whatever you have the money for really. If you don't like it you can always sell it for a profit. So far the multiverse boxes have been going for double their cost on eBay. And I know that some of that will go down eventually, but some of that won't.
So I am guessing he didn’t see how some of the expansion start getting more content into them due to stretch goals.
I'm going with Base game + Arkham - Tempted by Gotham, but may only add it in the pledge manager later.
Same but as i find SG box to be too much (sold my X-Men pledge) I'll be waiting for the retail boxes.
As someone that went all in on MU 1 to 3 I don't see a huge need to get this in general - but the base pledge itself does have pretty much every figure I'd really want. Metropolice, coolest city.

I got the Titans pledge. As well as Gotham City, and Arkham breakout. I will pick Metropoles and both Green Lantern pack.

GREAT JOB
LIKE ALWAYS BRO
I want Doctor Fate but I don't care for the jla expansion so probably buy him separately afterwards
I'm gonna go all-in and then only play the Lantern content
i really like your last minute video. I was on the fence. Now i'm debating the Teen titan pledge. I dont want to miss out, but Im not sure if its worth it. Any advice?
I watched this clip over ten times. 😂
Great work!

I will paint them, actually, but I don't need a guide to do that.
Superfriends, playmat, arkham, suicide squad. GG
My willpower is weak. I caved and went all in. I don't have any united system and love DC way more than marvel.
neverplayed this system. thought about getting a copy from amazon to try it but than I looked at my Marvel Champions collection and thought no im good.
I feel you. It’s the Reverse for me. Every time Champions tempts me I look at United and pass. Too much of one theme.
Went with teen titans pack and added Arkham and SS mostly a Batman fan so the others were meh. Want the mat but that’s already like 180 will do without
I backed it but didn’t go all in
gotta do something about the mic noise every time you touch the table it's on.
I will all in and sell what i dont like
Love the minis but it's a pass for me.
Teen Titans just doesn't look that great to me. My #1 is Suicide Squad followed by #2 War of the Light. Arkham will be good, but I will just wait for retail (and skip the two exclusives).
Teen titans gives 2 villains for 35 bucks, that’s a scam
Like Metropolis, but Deathstroke has cool mechanic with cards in your hand, Trigon is big mini+ he got the challenge, aaaaaaaand the most important thing is Beast Boy who is the most unique hero of all of the United games.
I mean original s1 boxes were 30 for 1 villain when I bought them in the X-men campaign

Justice society has PvP. Why is everyone not interested in that???
Cause it's tacked on, will be extremely unbalanced and feels like an afterthought to check a box.

Cause we dont play pvsp. O ly cooperative 😅
I think a bigger reason is that most united players already have the exact same mode in the civil war expansion.
Passing too… the 3 other seasons are enough and compatible !
After much debate, I’m passing.
are you sure, there is still a few hours left ? you know you want the core box at least $65 + $20 USA shipping promo box will be $120 plus post GF you know you want it join the other 14000
The number of times I saw the word “EXCLUSIVE” on the GF page was a huge turn off. FOMO predatory tactics.
That’s cmon for you
