The Best Cinnamon Cake Recipe | Cake Boss | Cinnamon Rolls

  • Best Cinnamon cake... Have you remembered unique smell of your mother cinnamon cake when you were home after school in cold winter days? Do you want to flash back to these days? Or have you watched cake boss in TV and wants to bake like them? Good, you are definitely on correct recipe. Following ingredients will throw you back or make you feel like cake boss. If you are ready for journey to your old and lovely days, let's go.
    Ingredients;
    For Cinnamon Filling;
    3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
    1 Cup (2 sticks) Butter *at room temperature
    2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
    2 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
    For Cake Batter;
    2 Eggs
    1/2 Cup Milk
    1/2 Cup Melted Butter
    1 Tsp Baking Powder
    1 Tsp Baking Soda
    3/4 Cup Sugar
    2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
    1 1/2 Cups Flour
    For Topping;
    1 Tbsp Butter *at room temperature
    4 oz. Cream Cheese (100g) *at room temperature
    2 Tbsp Whipping Cream
    1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
    Whisk butter and brown sugar at room temperature. Add it flour and cinnamon. Beat your mixture well until having good homogeneous brown view.
    For cake batter, beat the eggs and sugar with a hand mixer for 5 minutes. Then add milk, vanilla extract and melted butter and whisk. From this point, you should use whisk, not the hand mixer. Otherwise, your cake will not be fluffy. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda to the mixture.
    Oil your pan, pour cake batter into your pan. Put the cinnamon filling and spread it as you watched in the video.
    Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes. Leave the cake to being cooled down for 20 minutes after baking.
    For Topping;
    Whisk butter and cream cheese in a bowl. Then add the powder sugar, whipping cream and vanilla extract. Mix your all ingredient thoroughly. Keep it in refrigerator until you start your garnishing step.
    Decorate your cake as you wish.
    Taste is similar to cinnamon rolls huh?

    100g Oda Sıcaklığında Tereyağı yada Margarin
    2 Yemek Kaşığı Un
    2 Yemek Kaşığı Tarçın
    Kek Hamuru İçin:
    2 Yumurta
    Yarım Su Bardağı Süt
    Yarım Su Bardağı Eritilmiş Tereyağı
    1 Paket Kabartma Tozu
    1 Çay Kaşığı Karbonat
    3/4 Su Bardağı Şeker
    1 Paket Vanilin yada 2 Çay Kaşığı Vanilya Özü
    1.5 Su Bardağı Un
    Süsleme İçin:
    1 Yemek Kaşığı Oda Sıcaklığında Tereyağı yada Margarin
    1 Su Bardağı Pudra Şekeri
    Yarım Paket Krem peynir (100g)
    2 Yemek Kaşığı Krema
    1 Çay Kaşığı Vanilya Özü yada Çeyrek Paket Vanilin
    Oda sıcaklığındaki margarin ve esmer şekeri çırpın. Ardından un ve tarçını ekleyin. İyice karıştırın.
    Kek hamuru için yumurta ve şekeri 5dk. el mikseri ile çırpın. Ardından süt ve eritilmiş tereyağını ekleyip çırpın. Bu aşamadan sonra artık el mikserini kullanmamalıyız. Aksi halde kekiniz kabarmayacaktır. Vanilin, un, kabartma tozu ve karbonatı eleyerek karışıma ekleyin. Ardından çırpıcı yada spatula yardımıyla karıştırın.
    Kaıbınızı yağlayın ve kek harcınızı tepsinize dökün. Üzerine kaşık yardımıyla tarçınlı dolguyu koyun ve videoda görüldüğü gibi yayın.
    175°C önceden ısıtılmış fırında 25-30dk. pişirin. Kürdan testi ile kekinizin pişip pişmediğini anlayabilirsiniz. Fakat fırın kapağı sürekli açılmamalıdır.
    Süslemesi için oda sıcaklığındaki tereyağı ve krem peyniri ezin. Ardından pudra şekeri krema ve vanilini ekleyip karıştırın. Keki süsleyene kadar buzdolabınızda muhafaza edin.
    Kek piştikten sonra 20 dk soğuması için bekleyin. Ardından dilimleyin ve süsleyin.

    I made this earlier and its delicious even if i just steam it using a small rice cooker. I am temporarily staying in a different place due to the pandemic transportation restriction and what i have here is rice cooker only.

      If you don’t have it, you can use same amount of whole milk instead of whipping cream🥰. Result will be still same🥰

    What woul you man by Tsp when you measure the amount of vanilla xtract, baking soda or baking power? ? Is this a Table spoon or tea spoon? Tsp is the table spoon an dit's about 15 ml or gr , tsp is the tea spoon and it's about 5 ml or gr in my understaning. Would you put a big spoon of baking soda and plus one big spoon of baking powder all together?

      Thank you so much🙏Yes, I need to add brown sugar to the cinnamon. In this way, the cinnamon filling is going to be more moist.You know, brown sugar is more moist than white sugar.☺️

      If you don't have cream cheese, it’s OK to have cake without topping😊 The cake will be still very delicious. However, if you wish, you can make glaze sauce; whisk 2 cups powdered sugar together with 5 tbsp milk and 1 tsp vanilla extract in a bowl and drizzle over the cake while it is still warm.

      I can’t imagine unsweetened cake😊. However, everyone has different taste buds. So that you can adjust sugar at your discretion. If you are concern that white sugar is unhealthy you may use brown sugar or any other sweetener. 😊

    this was really yummy! however all the cinnamon swirl sank to the bottom and became very hard, would you know how that happened?

      ohh I am sorry to hear that. I am not sure what you did wrong while you are making it. But I guess, you should have preheated oven if you didn’t do that. Because if you put cake in warm or cold oven, cinnamon can sink to the bottom while oven is getting hotter.
