Nice video. One quick correction. The house in the NW is not direct access, you have to go under the 8' 9" bridge at Old Burnt Store. The description in the MLS says direct access, but it's not.
Thanks for pointing that out. I've ran into this type issue while searching this area and many others, and as MSGed to here, is getting frustrating. Listing should also now have a requirement in flood zones to list property high and insurance liability. I hate having my time wasted.
Great video.. There is a reason the SE region of Cape Coral was developed first.... The SE area of the Cape is Optimal to Gulf access and Fort Meyers/Sanibel. It is in the best Downtown/Open water access area of Cape Coral. I would live nowhere else. The beauty of the Cape is it is very sheltered from the direct Hurricane hits that are inevitable. Good video. Thanks!
I have gulf access in the SW and, like you, would live nowhere else. Downtown and the Boathouse are only 15 minutes away and with the Chiquita lock open since Ian (and now slated for removal) boating is a breeze.
@@CapeCoralDustin That is a "Game Changer" for choosing where to live in the Cape... Will this make the SW Cape the fastest access to the Gulf?? (not the river... actually into the Gulf) Thanks
Hi! Thanks! I would call both Honc Marine and Williamson Brothers and see which one will give you the best quote. They’re normally reasonable and build quality docks.

Thanks! Yes, that’s correct. Realized it right after I posted the video. Apologies for the oversight.

I'm 6 houses from the river in Buccaneer Bay near Tarpon point. You can keep those long rides to open water.
Cool!

So glad the city finally got the all clear to remove that lock. Great thing for you guys west of Chiquita in the SW!
@@CapeCoralDustin For sure!

Hi, great video. Who would you recommend to call for a quote on a boat dock? Thank you.
