As an Australian, I’d argue that it’s horribly tedious for everyone who isn’t American.
Fun stream, you five worked well off of each other. Surprisingly little talk over, and great flow; I think you have a potential permanent cast.
I'm locking in 875k for Deadpool, with a 5% margin depending on word of mouth.
If this had come out during/soon after Phase 3, easy 1.3 bill, but with the strong Disney hate and superhero apathy setting in, I don't think even Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are going to be able to carry it over the billion mark.
And the more they tie it to the main events of the MCU (TVA), the less they're gonna let Deadpool truly cut loose.

Great show as always. Being a person that played football for years (college included), but not the NFL; I genuinely-understandably-appreciate Platoon’s confusion and dislike of the game! Football is a unhealthy-like American obsession, which I am included in that. Platoon’s sense of humor is great! I love Platoon’s channel (Cynic and Vex too). If madam web is a set up film for madam web and not some other Spider-Man movie then at least they are doing it first and not saving it to make after the main film as a prequel no one would want.

By the time, the green with the second part I had had spoilers and people reviewing saying there’s not a lot of action that comes next so I just said I’ll wait for the second one then I watch the first and then go to the second to the theater.

When it comes to the "Dune Saga," I rather enjoyed the weird horny nonsense of the 4-6th books. Although it is really really weird and difficult to digest, no wonder 40k borrows so much from them.
But to answer your question, I think Herbert's active reading style of writing and his world building invite us to imagine a lot of reasons as to why the Face Dancers were not used in the first book. I like to think that since the Tleilaxu are known to be quite treacherous to outsiders that Shaddam simply didn't consider dealing with them.
I think even in the second book the Bene Gessert don't trust them either.
25:47 I had thought about this before. I assumed Feige wanted a break from the MCU and unfortunately trusted the wrong people as substitutes. Anyway, Feige knew Secret Wars would resolve plot holes and address everything wrong with Phase Four and Phase Five.
Eh I dunno. He’s the one who was excitedly gushing about how he wanted the MCU to have more female superheroes than male. He’s the one on the red carpet at the eternals talking about literally nothing but patting himself on the back about it’s diversity and inclusion. Haha. Although I think it’s a good theory, and of course I could be completely wrong haha

I mean, I'm ancient enough to know who they are, and why killing them would be terribly unsatisfying (looking at you, first-movie-Sabretoorh and Spike), but how does that make for a good film? We're not going after Ian McKellen's or Fassbenser's Magneto, they were presented superbly and are beloved for it, so who does Deadpool kill in such a film? Kevin Feige and Bobby aren't getting any acting credits, that's for sure.

Regarding "Deadpool 3's" performance I'm going to throw out 650,000, and it won't resurrect the MCU.
I think that the Super Hero/Shared Universe era of Hollywood cinema is over. And nothing, no matter how objectively good it is will save it.
Not like what happened with "Westerns," but more like "Biblical epics." The budgets are too big, too wasteful, the risks too high and people are craving something new. That isn't fair but it's a truism, how well a film does financially is not always related to how good it is. And when Super Hero films bomb, they bomb hard.
Anyone else wish they'd let Deadpool destroy all the multiverses except one?

33:37 Unreal is the best engine? I beg to differ. It may excel in terms of graphics, but it's not the best overall. Especially its physics engine is dog crap, not to mention the documentation, which is so outdated that reading the source code becomes more efficient. A friend of mine, also a game developer, once tried to get information about a simple git implementation. The answer was, "We are open source, just write your own." This engine is nothing more than a beautiful nothing.
