Was just there yesterday, took the Dolly Steamboat ride then had lunch at Tortilla Flat. I’ve been on the Apache trail 5 different times in the past. Visiting my sister in Deer Valley from Pennsylvania. Arizona is my happy place, love it here with the exception of the freeways!
wow another fantastic video,,the camera footage is really sharp and clear i love it...and as always great commentary that goes along with each video so we know where were at and what were looking at 👍👍...catch ya on the next one
We are from rural far Northern California coast...My husband and I love exploring Arizona these past few years. In our travel trailer. But we stick to natural wonders and avoid big cities altogether. Payson sized towns is the biggest we like to visit...And no we do not want to move to Arizona, just visit there. Thanks for the videos.
It's SRP not CAP. Two entirely separate water resources that work together. SRP = Salt River Project who manage the Salt River watershed. A great story in, and of, itself. Search "Roosevelt Dam, Arizona's living legacy" for an Emmy award winning video produced by SRP. CAP = Central Arizona Project who manage the Colorado River watershed. East Valley = SRP, West Valley = CAP.
Geronimo was part of an exhibition at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis. The Comanche Empire stretched from Arizona to northern Mexico and well into Texas. We used to swim and picnic at Saguaro Lake. Some very nice hiking trails around Saguaro Lake - but be aware of rattlesnakes when it is warm out!
Great video. Anyone remember a restaurant/bar called Fillies in Apache Junction? Saw a fantastic fiddle player there once. Good fried chicken too. Rode out there from Illinois.
We came out in 73'. My folks and the family wanted to see as much of the state as we could. Being new we just opened a map and started going places. One of our weekend trips we were traveling around in our 4 door Sedan. And decided to go to Globe. Then we went to Roosevelt lake. And thought let's go down the Apache trail. Yeah I can hear some of you now. Newbies Green horns whatever you're saying you are right. Oh my gosh I think it is only 23 miles of dirt road. I forget how many hours it took us to come down. It put my Mom on the outside. Poor thing had a fear of heights. She laid over on the seat most of the way down. No guard rail to speak of if I remember correctly. There's more by I'll stop now. Except to say we had to get new breaks after that trip. Oh yeah only come up the Apache trail. Avoid coming down! 🤦🏼♀️ Just saying🤷🏼♀️ Unless A lot has changed. 😉
Great video, as a 70 year old Arizona native take twice as much water as you think you will need, if you don’t need it someone else might. The Four Wheel drive on the sign means just that. All wheel drive is not, four wheel drive. You might get a ticket if you’re on that road. Have a great day
I love the grounded reality of this channel!!! *If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you..prevent inflation*
I feel sympathy and empathy for our country, low income earners are suffering to survive, and I appreciate Wayne. You've helped my family with your advice. imagine investing $30,000 and receiving $95,460 after 28 days of trading.
Did someone just mention Mr Wayne!? Damn! You just made my day; what a coincidence.. I've worked with him for over 2years and I can tell how good he is
The trouble with Roosevlet Lake is that in the summer it loses half of its water and becomes unusable for boating because there is not enough water. It use to be awesome 30 years ago but now it is a wasteland!
I loved Arizona lived in Apache Junction went out to the mountains hoping to take my trip next year!!
From Minnesota but winter in AJ . Always love doing the trail and glad it’s open again , thanks for the ride !!!

Yes you are right. I misspoke there. It definitely is Salt River Project.
CAP also serves central and southern AZ over 300miles of Colorado river water starting north of parker strip - Mark Wilmer pump station.

Thank you for the additional insight
The salt river project is the correct reference. Central Arizona Project is on the Colorado River.
Yes you are right I definitely misspoke.

I'm in a similar situation where should I look to increase income? Do you have any advice? What did you do? Thank you
Well, I engage in nice side hustles like investing, and the good thing is I do it with one one of the best(Michael Wayne), he's really good!
Did someone just mention Mr Wayne!? Damn! You just made my day; what a coincidence.. I've worked with him for over 2years and I can tell how good he is
It's great to see you guys talking about Michael Wayne, This man changed the game for me. Good Man❤️

Your videos for snow birds should include good medical facilities for seniors.
