The Vietnam mod looks good, I hope there will be a published version of it. I've been using Charlie Dont't Surf for 28mm figures. Good news about CoC version2.
Exciting news but also, Bugger! I bought the current rulebook 2 years ago and I still haven’t managed to play a game! I was hoping this was going to be about a Market Garden handbook instead!
I was hoping for a version 2! With the rules spread between two books, a huge errata doc, and a "corrected" force points doc, it needed some consolidation. And maybe some improvement in the layout. I wonder if the loss of their website spurred TFL to get it out sooner?
Yes, from what Richard Clarke said at LARD Workshop in Nottingham, there will be a lot of consolidation of existing errata (or rather corrigenda!) and integration of additional rules from the Blitzkrieg and Far East handbooks, but there will definitely be some new and improved core rules.
Ha! Ha! No, I tried to tease Richard Clarke with that running joke, but there is definitely a schedule in place for publication in the immediate future. He's just not counting his chickens before they've hatched! ;-)
Mortiis. We will see him end of November. 🤘 The pictures from the Vietnam game are really inspiring. Should also make sure to get something on the table again. The videos are always motivating. ☺
Late to the party I know but as a club we have just stared to try them out ( tried them at Lard days) so little point in picking up more rule sets at present.
9:00 Richard Clarke was already publicly showcasing Chain of Command 2nd edition rules at LARD Workshop in Nottingham. Also, he seemed confident about when it would be published (and he wasn't phased by the running joke "it'll be out before Easter!" about previous repeatedly delayed publications). Now he's apparently refused to confirm a publication date to Alex, so I had better keep shtum! As a teaser, I think that Alex will be particularly pleased with the name of one of the new rules! ;-)
@@StormofSteelWargaming Ha! Ha! Yes, I suspected as much by the way that Richard Clarke kept saying the phrase "Storm of Steel" like he was impersonating an old-school 1960s / 1970s radio DJ like Alan Freeman! ;-)
That are good news, indeed. I have one question to which I was unable to find some official answer: What happened to Fighting Season (Modern setting for CoC). Was it officially dropped or postponed? As you usually have a good insight, I hope you know about this topic, too...
Ooo quite a scoop! Second edition CoC automatically goes on my 'must buy' list.

Lol
Definitely Easter. 🐣

Great work on the epic Naps, and big news from the Lardy front!

Been a fan of Mortiis since his demo when he left Emperor. Never seen him live though... I'm welly jelly.
@@StormofSteelWargaming Then I will greet him mentally. 😉
Great video Alex. And thanks for sharing COC 2 is coming 😊
Cool 👍
Oh Crap! COC 2!!! I'm so pumped! Thanks for the scoop Alex!
I KNEW it! Good news.
AWESOME! This is such exciting news, and the French infantry sprue are looking good.
Interesting stuff about CoC .... I wonder if Rich will be at Clotted Lard in a couple of weeks.
Exciting news!
Come on Alex! Lady Elizabeth Butler. 🙄🙄😂😂
It's just a mistake.
Excited ;)

I may have had a hand in suggesting that name...

Needs to get Midgard released first!
Patience, grasshopper
@@StormofSteelWargaming too many Easters have passed!
Another Coc?!!! 😮
Where would you get hold of Vietnam CoC?
John sent me it.

“Fighting Season” was officially dropped by TFL some years ago. For reasons Rich explained at the time he decided not to pursue that project.
@@johnewing4245 Thanks for the reply - that was what I feared...would have loved to see an official, modern version...
It'll be easter, won't it?
It's one of the simplest games out there.
