Depending on temperature you may want to wax again with a deferent temperature wax. The base will appear whiter or look dry near the edges. That’s means your over due for a wax.
Don't overlook the brushes. Steel or brass to remove old wax. Nylon to create the water channels. Water channels are important so that step should not be overlooked. Finish with the horse hair brush, essentially the polish.
