    Hey Shane, I bought some FightTips mitts and didn’t receive any way to view the free online course. I emailed your wife but I haven’t gotten a response in months. Please get back to me so I can get what I paid for.

    Lot of comments about how jiujitsu LOOKS when watching it... and I tend to agree... don't care to watch it myself... kind of ewe sometimes. :) BUT, when rolling it's the last thing you're thinking about... Way too many things happening to be focused on the immature visuals... lol. Anyway, great video... always nice to either learn or be reminded of these types of tips. Thank you and keep up the great work!

    Hi, there! Shout-out to you guys for making this great channel. The MMA newbie that I am does appreciate the valuable content, especially during a pandemic with all the MMA gyms closed. (And MMA gyms happen to be seriously expensive where I live, so all the more a reason to watch and learn through this channel!)

    The triangle (from guard) and the rubber guard can also be very strong ground and pound positions, even if you're on your back. Had this guy punch the living hell out of me once when I was stuck in a triangle

    Positioning is key to winning a match.

  • @ThomasistheTwin
    @ThomasistheTwin 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    To escape from position #1. The one in guard must raise his out side leg, lifting up and under with the hips pushing off on both balls of the feet. You have to antisipate the raise up and you need to flow upward together. Possibly disrupting a strike but mainly you must put your calf across the fase or ideally hook the neck with the back of the knee if you can shove them forward enough of if they lean back as you arch with them. I would try to be to an elbow to throw back elbow. Then shell up/buck .then other side.

    Knee on belly is my go to position in jiu jitsu mainly because I’m 120 pounds and every one is a giant on me it keeps me away from being locked into their strength and keeps me mobile most people tend to bug out after a while with heavy sternum pressure and usually shrimp into s mount and anyone that does jiu jitsu knows that s mount is a paradise for submissions. If you don’t know what s mount is it was the position dude was in when he had Shane wrapped up. If your in a street situation and really want to destroy some one use the high mount and slide your knees quickly into their cover hands it will pry the arm down with your knee pinning it down do the same to the other hand with a fast knee and you got a exposed head for clean shots.

      This is what I did that worked for me. Learn which chain of muscles and joints work together to perform that kick. Record yourself from the front, side, and back views (12: 00, 3: 00/9: 00, 6: 00), and compare your good side (in this case your left roundhouse) with your bad side (right roundhouse). After I did I saw that, with my weak side, I wasn't leading enough with my hip, as well as there wasn't enough rotation with my planted foot.

    • @DracoSwordMaster12
      @DracoSwordMaster12 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stretch so that flexibility isnt the issue. Something i did when I was taekwondo and first learning kicks was to: 1) lay on your back 2) post up on your elbow facing one side 3) go step by step with the kicking leg by first clambering, then extending, then the chamber, and lastly set it back beside the resting leg. Repeat.
      You can also use a wall for balance to do the same thing.
      Eventually you want to get to the point when you can freely balance and do your kick slowly through the air. If you do a kick slow and controlled then throwing a kick explosively shouldn't be a problem.
      Lastly, be aware of foot positioning on the kicking leg and on the resting leg. Be aware of the position of your hips, and the position of your knee as you're throwing the kick. What are your hands and shoulders doing as you throw the kick? Is your torso relatively over your hips as you throw the kick or are you leaning back to compensate for height?All these things matter and can lead to different results. Play with the angles.
      Practice often, but practice with a vision in mind of how you want to be throwing the kick. Perfect practice makes perfect.

    So brother brother pllzzzzzzz respond my question reply answer my answer..... why my hands get shut and can't be raised on enemy when he is in front of me plzzzzzzz reply😭😭😭😭😭😭💖💖💖
