    Just posted this on the NCKFA Facebook Page after seeing lot of rods/reels leaning against walls and corners around the rental homes during the Classic! Great idea and great Fall/Winter project!

      If you have duct tape, you can drop the "almost". 😂😂

    Nice work. If desired, one could also attach some 1/2" - 3/4" plywood to the bottom, add some rubber caster wheels (3" minimum maybe), and then easily move the rod racks around when needed. Just a thought.

    You can get the Okuma Expandable ABS Rod Rack for less than $40 on Amazon. It stands only as high as a wine refrigerator and holds 16 rods with reels. And there are other rod and reel racks for around the same price.

    • @SOFishing
      @SOFishing  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have a KastKing rod rack but I really like these because of the rod spacing with the reels on them. Thanks for watching!!

    nice job I took your design and altered it to have extended feet for stability I love it, what did you cut your pipe with I bought a pvc cutter up to 2" know cleaning or sanding burrs

    • @SOFishing
      @SOFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching and I used a miter saw to cut the PVC.

    Nice. I’m not running out of rod holding space. I’ve been out for awhile. You figure 1 1/2 is a must? I thought maybe 1 1/4 might do it for me when I was thinking up something similar for myself. Great tips though bro, I like all the stuff you’ve been doing on your channel lately. Can’t ALWAYS be fishin.

    • @SOFishing
      @SOFishing  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah man if you don't have big butted rods like the ones I have the smaller PVC will work fine and be cheaper too. Haha, thanks man I will hopefully be doing more stuff like that here soon. I am just waiting for a green light to film it. Your right might as well laugh some!!

      1/1/2 1/1/4 3,inches,,,,its all the same ,,,it just holds the rods,,, dont be that guy

    Insert some foam or tool dip to the inside of the piping and the rods won't get chipped as easy or the eyes won't get bend during transport
