  • Fishing rod rack - rotating. Fishing rod storage. This was made from scrap wood in the shop, made to fit a lazy susan that was store bought. This fishing rod rack or holder that rotates was made for my nephew and to avoid buying similar expensive fishing rod racks at sports stores. It consists of scrap wood that is stained and clear coated too make it look nice. As you will see in the video the fishing rod or pole stand came out nice and and the nephew loves it.

    Clever use of a lazy Susan. The rack looks really nice. I am slightly disappointed that you only have two poles to display. LOL

      @LonghornWorkshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah you are right about that, but only had two on hand for the picture. He said he will send another pic with it full when he gets back to California, course that was wishful thinking...lol

    looks good Harki. Nice idea for the top hook to hold the rods in place. I should have seen this before because I had a similar issue with a snooker cue holder that I just built.

    How to make a fishing rod / pole rack - rotating. This was made from scrap wood in the shop, made to fit a lazy susan that was store bought. As always please leave a like, comment and share the video.

    Would you happen to have a tool & supply list I could print out? Thanks

    • @LonghornWorkshop
      @LonghornWorkshop  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I do not have a list or plan. It was built on the fly.
      The lazy Susan I bought from Home Depot.
      All the wood was scrap wood, you can build this with 2by4 and some pine boards.
      I used forstner drill bit for drilling the holes for the fishing rods.
      If there is anything specific you need to know about let me know.
