I'm a little confused how two of them didn't feel emotionally invested in Chappie being bullied and beaten by almost everyone. I'm assuming it's because it's difficult for some people to look at robots with empathy the same way they would with a human being, regardless of the fact the robot is fully self aware to the same extent as a living breathing person.
I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned yet, but “Mommy” and “Ninja” are the two members or ‘Die Atwood’. They’re actually musicians; not actors at all, but they did a pretty damn good job. and much of the music in the movie is made by them also; as well as much of the set designs of the warehouse they live in (All the yellow and pinks, the graffiti, their clothing, etc)
Such an underrated movie, remember watching this movie in the theaters because I had a free ticket and talked about it with everyone, but never reach main midia, such a tragic story
Sharlto Copley is such an underrated actor imo and stuff like this shows he can do voice acting too. Elysium is another sci fi movie he's in with matt damon and neil Blomkamp directed. This movie is so good, both the story and the idea behind it. I don’t get why so many people hate on it.
